I got a recording stating that I am being sued by the IRS and I am to call them.

I got a recording stating that I am being sued by the IRS and I am to call them.  Middle Eastern Accent.  They need to learn that the IRS does not sue people.  Ingnorance on their behalf.

I keep getting a call from this number, identifying themselves as IRS.

I keep getting calls from this number claiming  to be IRS and I'm being sued.

Recorded message saying it was the IRS and they were going to sue me. Knowing it was a scam I called them. Middle Eastern guy answers the phone, "Internal Revenue Service, this is Officer Smith." I had some fun with him for a little bit and then when he started asking for personal information I told him I didn't believe he was with the IRS and he immediately hung up.

I called the BBB in regards to this call.  They would like anyone who has received a call to call them, they are generating a list of these numbers to turn into the actual IRS.

I got a call from this # x2 today so filed complaint with BBB.

Got calied three times. They didn't leave a voice-mail.

I've gotten 3 calls today from the irs

2 calls on answering machine, sounds like computer generated female voice, claiming IRS suing me. Sure.....

This number called me 4 times today! I didn't answer any of the calls and they left a message that just said the phone number.

I received this call also and it is not good that they are scamming people but I think that your title "US born and raised citizen" and the comment that the caller had a Middle Eastern accent is quite racist.  I too was born and raised in US, and my caller also had a foreign accent (Filipino) but this is not the point and the information contributed nothing to your comment other than the information that you are a bigot.

Oh please, if the comment was that the caller had an American accent, a southern accent, a British accent etc... would that also be racist?  Simply stating that the caller has an accent is not racist. It does contribute to the comment since many of these scam calls do come from other countries.

This number called my home phone today, it was a recorded message that the IRS was suing me and instructed me to call back. This was also in a female voice. I got this call last year too!! When is our law enforcement going to do something!!!

I got the same call just now.  I didn't answer, sounded like a recording.

I just got a voice mail stating that I was being sued by the IRS and to call them. Of course I didn't but just wanted to make you aware. Same thing happened

Three calls from this number this morning, the first at 5:30AM.  Female recorded voice, informing me I am being sued by the IRS and left the phone number.  I haven't called back yet, hoping they'll give up.  If they call again, I'll tell them that I've reported them and to leave me alone.

I keep getting a call from this number--the IRS was suing me and instructed me to call back-identifying themselves as IRS.  I checked with my CPA and be told it's impossible for IRS to call the person,only by letter if IRS wants to contact with you.
