Message indicated that it was the last attempt to contact me that the IRS had filed lawsuit against me.  Called the same # back and foreign gentlman answred call as Internal Revenue Service - wanting me to confirm my identify / home address.  When I wouldn't he indicated my name (first name only, which was correct) and said the IRS had issued an arrest warrant against me

There is a widespread IRS (or CRA) or "tax scam" being  practiced by scammers on both USA and Canadian residents.

Automated phone call that it was IRS last attempt to collect.  Call came at 6:40 am. Ugh.

It's a scam been getting a lot of calls like that recently. Becareful people do not! I repeat do not give any of your information to them!

Left voice mail indicating that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against you to get more information to please call immediately.

Remember this is a scam, do not call. IRS sends notices in the mail if they want to get in contact with you.

I just got a call from this phone number, left a message on my voice mail. The automatic voice informed me about IRS open case against me and this is the last chance to stop it. Clearly it is a scam. Don't pay attention and block this phone number. Two years ago I went to a real IRS investigation, and IRS always notified you the open a case by letter, no by phone call.

Had 2 calls this morning so far, starting at 7am. Also called from Seattle 206-792-5049. Robocall stating IRS was suing me.
