Phone called said the IRS is suing us for back taxes.

Got the same call was very concerned since I just started a payment plan with the irs when I tried to return call it disconnects. thanks for the info will block number

i received the call this am, when I gave them my call back number they hung up, don't they know this is an old scam. the guy was foreign.

First 3 phone calls came from 509-228-3481. The following 2 calls from 509-228-8545.  Calls claim that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me but never said for what reason. When I call back the phone just rings, and rings!  SCAM!

I got 2 calls now. I looked on the internet to find out anything and got my answer. Thanks, I knew it was a prank. IRS does not call you to advices you about anything. LOL

Got called twice this morning, 2 different numbers, same bullcrap message about IRS final notice before lawsuit.  When I pressed number to actual talk to someone, disconnected.

got a call saying they were the IRS. You can hear the thick accent, and tons of people on phones in the back ground.
They ask for your "file number", then your name if you don't have a file number. I said if you are really the IRS, you would send an official letter. they then hung up.

I just received a call from a person that had a heavy Indian, or Pakistani accent claiming to be the IRS from phone# 1-509-228-3451, made it clear that I didn't owe money to the IRS. They told me that I had an arrest warrant and that if I didn't pay the money to them that I owed them that they were going to have me arrested, I told them that I didn't have any money they told me that that if I didn't pay them $100 right now in debit that they were going to have the police come to my house and arrest me. I told him things don't work I asked him if they knew my last 4 of my social they said they didn't that they can't release that information over the phone I told them, if your IRS you know my social security number if you don't have that I'm  calling theIRS right now we're going to come to the bottom line on this they told me that if I didn't give me $100 again that they're going to send the police officer police to my house they switch me over to two other people same heavy accents and they told me that same thing and thats when they just that that's when I hung up.
Like if there isn't enough bad stuff that's going on in the world today poverty, hunger, war so on and so on. I really hope that whoever it was that called me reads this and is clear that people are not as naive as you think they are and you won't get away with this you've been reported to the IRS Fraud Department!!!
Sucks having to look over your shoulder, not for people like you, your used to it!!!
