Just rang at 8:15 am.  Second call now from FIRE CHARITFUND in last few days.  BUT the first call was from 252-429-7264.  Interesting that they thought if they spoofed and "in-state" area code, this dummy might answer.  Sorry!  We don't even answer local numbers as they can be spoofed too.  Any legit caller will leave a voice mail message and many of them are set up in our directory with their names.  The only messages captured are usually the last half of a recording with the most recent being the Apple Inc. scam calls.

I had the same exact thing happen for my 3rd call in 2 days from the same numbers.  First two were 252, last at 8:02 a.m. this morning was 509.  They are representing the Fire Fighters of WASHINGTON state (supposedly).  Definitely a scam for $ call.
