Called while I was out but left no message.  I've had calls from "Benefits Dept" in the past and they were from people trying to sell extended car warranties.  I'm assuming this is the same bunch, just a different number.

The latest new phone number from the “Benefits Dept”… the 51st call from (to date) 48 different phone numbers… coming from locations anywhere from Seattle, WA to Nassau, NY.  This one, is the 12th such call from Washington (Seattle (4), Tualip (2), Port Orchard (1), Loon Lake (2), Bellingham (1), Spokane (1), Cle Elum (1))… using 11 different phone numbers.  What’s that tell you?  1) They’re spoofing numbers… and they could care less about how you feel about them bothering you… they know you block previous numbers so they just use another one to continue bothering you.  2) It also indicates they don’t give a flip about the DNC list.  Their disregard of the DNC list alone should tell you all you need to know… this call is not legitimate… these are criminals.  Does that sound like someone you want to do business with?  This is an insurance scam (life, mortgage, you name it).  Blocked and forgotten.

Robocall. Insurance SCAM. " Attention residents 18 through 85, your state has just approved a new life insurance policy that pays for your planned funeral expenses. The best part is if you never use the policy it is returned to you in cold hard cash. Operators are standing by. To speak with the representative to see if you qualify press one. Press 9 to be removed. Press one now." Same call also came in on 509-233-4210.

Caller ID shows "BENEFITS DEPT".  Blocked.

Get multiple calls using different numbers but all show "Benefits Dept.". I never answer.
