big time con artists

Got a call from this number. The recorded message stated that it was from the IRS and was calling to let me know that they were going to sue me; and to call back. No "File Number" mentioned.

No response, only disconnect when I answered.  Read other posts on this number and I have heard of this IRS scam so that's obviously what it (might have been).

These jackholes called my cell phone at 6:30 in the morning and left a robo message: "Filing a lawsuit against you. To get more information about this case file please call immediately on our department number 509-288-4623. I repeat 509-288-4623. Thank you." Hahahaha yeah sure that's how lawsuits are filed, by leaving a message on someone's cell phone.

Now they are using the 2 different #s, the 509 one and (347) 696-0086.  The voice mail only captures the part to call for a case but the 1st part of it for some reason does not get recorded.  Tried calling both #s back but they are both busy.  Thank you to the previous posts.  It puts my mind at ease, and of course annoyed!

Got two calls today with exactly the same message. One from Colfax, WA: 509-288-4623 & then from New York, NY: 347-696-0086. Threatening legal action from the IRS if I did not call these numbers back immediately. Fat chance of that happening. May they rot in hell with a slow & painful death.

Same for me they are using both numbers to keep calling me. 347-696-0086 and 509-288-4623. I blocked the first and then the calls started coming form the second so i blocked that one too.

I did get back through to the 509# and after 20 or so rings someone answered. I asked who they were and was told the "IRA". I asked who is the IRA and they said don't you know!. They asked for my name "which I didn't give them", and again I asked who is the IRA - this time they hung up!

To get more information about this case file please call immediately We all know IRS or government does not call , they send letter, so I knew right of way it is scam, but wants to share so if anyone else gets the call to ignore . Maybe reprot to police wouldnt be bad idea. Hope they can blok that IP address and user for GOOD. Sound like they are using PRANK DIALER or something and calling from there computer .

Called to inform me they are the IRS and had filed a law suit to Sue me and here had been a warrant out for my arrest. Need to call this number ASAP.
