I blocked this number

These are scammers claiming to be the IRS.  They are saying a lawsuit was filed against you for back taxes and want you to settle now.  They say unless you cooperate a warrant will be issued for arrest.  DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!  Report them to the IRS.

I also got a call from this number- stating the IRS has a lawsuit against me and will sue if i dont return the call. Beware.

Robo-dial call saying the IRS has been trying to reach me and that a lawsuit is being filed against me.  To call this number immediately.

Just got a robo call from this number and they were nice while I played along and then got really nasty when I told them IRS does not call people they send them letters and this is listed on the IRS site the fowl language was unreal that they used on me, got a good laugh out of it.

Robo call stating they are the IRS and they are filing lawsuit.  BS call.  Block this number.

ditto - called 2 x today and left the scam messg on voicemail- this scam has been well publicized and they prey on senior citizens. They called months ago and must be recycling their dialer's database.

The funny part is that the +509 appears to be an area code from Eastern Washington. First, the IRS number wouldn't be calling from that area code. Second, with the plus in front it is actually a Haiti country code...pretty sure the IRS would be calling from the U.S.

Called  me on July 29 at 11;13 AND July 30 AT 8:24.
Said it was the IRS , they were filing a lawsuit and to call above number for information.  Our local newspaper had a full column on this scam May 2, 2015.   I also got five calls at the end of July using the same scam with a different number: 509-492-3664.  What a waste of time since we filed all our  returns and got our refunds months ago.

Stupidly fell for this but thank goodness I called money gram in time to get my money reimbursed. Why are people so rude?!?!

The scam is coming back around, so beware.

Someone with a thick Indian accent called our home today, reporting that my husband had a "miscalculation"  in his reported income for the years 2009-2014 and that we had a lawsuit being filed against us from the IRS.  Upon further questioning he told me it was for 2013-2014.  He then added that the IRS had sent letters to us that were returned as undeliverable because no one was home to sign for the letter.  That's when I interrupted him and told him if the IRS had something important to mail me, I would have received notice of a certified letter.  I then told him to stop the IRS scam and by that point, I realized he had hung up.  Be aware of this scam!

Same thing. robo call saying you are being sued. I'm a lawyer--that is not how you are notified.

I received a call from a guy claiming he's  are from the IRS and that a warrant has been issued for my arrest. He also had a heavy Indian accent. I asked him several questions in regards to who he really is  and he hung up. They are calling from two numbers 509-288-4639 and 209-230-9001. It's a scam.
