Second call saying we are being sued by the IRS and need to return their call immediately to avoid prosecution.  Total scam

Recieved call stating I was being sued by the IRS for tax years 2008-2013 ,If I didn't pay that there would be a warrant for my arrest and my drivers liscence would be suspended.Talked to my Tax guy,scam!

Says lawsuit is being filed against me by the IRS. This is malarkey.

My mother just got a scam IRS phone call from them. Don't worry about these guys. One of their  names was Officer Kevin Johnson but sounded like his name was Raj Gupta.

I called them back and told them it sounded like a scam, they put me on hold and hung up. Morons.

Received message being sued from IRS, call back right away.  Called back and they answer the phone as IRS, when I started asking when did the IRS start leaving automated message and start lawsuits with never being audited.  I also spoke with a "Officer Johnson  and a "Officer Santos, badge # 8649.  When I told them I thought this was a scam, they ask me to hold and then hung up on me.  So, I played with them and called back and started asking for documentation and details and they said, "oh don't worry about it we have the wrong person.  Yes, they had the wrong person.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

I too got a call from this outfit. "Officer Johnson" barely had command of the English language; total scam. Told me that I was going to be criminally prosecuted, but could avoid by "settling" out of court.  Don't waste your time

Now you know the command..."Scam"....The call is out of PAKISTAN.

509-288-4650  Message was left on my phone by an automated machine saying
This is the IRS we have a lawsuit against you. Call this number to resolve this immediately.

It's a SCAM!
They keep calling and leaving a computer voice message (not a live person) stating, "Please call immediately on our department number 509-288-4650.  I repeat 509-288-4650. Thank you."  They do not announce who they are or why I am supposed to return their call.

After reading all of the complaints regarding this number, I have added the number to my automatic reject list.  I'm sure if the IRS wanted to reach me - or was going to sue me - they would notify me in writing first.

They claimed that a lawsuit was being filed against me by the IRS.

I received two calls today, and I missed the call, but a voice message was left saying it was the the IRS and I was being sued. I called the number back and it continued to ring with no automated message or recording. This is a complete scam

I have been receiving an automated call for the past 2 days stating that it's an IRS filing a lawsuit against me.  I live in California and the IRS area code number is either in Sacramento (916) or Fresno (559).  I know this is a scam and they should get arrested for this.  I was reading everyone's comments from "LAST YEAR" and yet government has not done anything regarding this issue.
