Some guy named Robert Chase called from this number saying that he was from publishers clearing house and that I won 4.1 million dollars and a new Mercedes. Gave me a claim number from ups and a claims dept. number from them that was 866-601-7853. Call the number and gives you the run around and wants you to call them and see how much you can get. haggles with me about how much I can come up with, even if it is $100. Claims I have to purchase a Green Dot Money Pak  and call them to verify that it is a valid card with $285 on it.  Calls it a government approval card, claims they are with the better business bureau.

rec'd call from robert chase  said he was an attny for ups and he left a phone # 866 601 7853 the scenario from 2/7/13 extremely similar to my situation.   PCH, won a car & money, green dot cards, I must send money for state sales delivery. He continues to call using different names.  Please beware, IT'S A SCAM

A call from IRS stating they are filing a lawsuit against us.

Got the same call 5 min ago... now searching web. post if you find anything, will do the same

A per recorded message message left from 1-866-288-4654 saying they are the IRS then they say "Internal Revenue Service" is filling a law suit against us.....call toll free.......
Who ever it is calling should be committing a federal offense by saying they are "Internal Revenue Service". Can FBI conduct investigation?

Same thing- I.R.S.  filing a lawsuit against me. I 'm not even a registered Republican.

Very disappointed. It used to be a live person who I could argue with. No fun anymore. First off, IRS does not call taxpayers. Second, IRA has an 800 number.

Recording IRS Collection last time they called using area code 506

I just received a call from 509 288 4654, stating that IRS has a lawsuit against me.  This is so not true.

I got a call from this number he told me was from the Irs. I told him no he was not and to stop calling me. I was not going to give him any information. He then told me he was going to F*** me and my mother.

I received a call from this # (509-288-4654) - didn't recognize it so I didn't answer it.  About 3 hours later, they called back again and this time I answered it.  It was a recording stating that this was my final notice and that the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me.  They then said that I needed to call the # back immediately.

Just now 2:30pm CST 7/28 computerized voice stating "The IRS has filed a lawsuit against you, for more information call 5092956809 immediately

I just received a call from 509 288 4654, stating that IRS has a lawsuit against me. No way!
Total BS Call.

This is a scam DO NOT  reply to them! IRS would mail you a notice NOT CALL YOU!!!!!!!

I received a call from 509 288 4654, stating that IRS has a lawsuit against me!  They called 4 times and left the message the last time.

Received a call this morning; caller ID showed Colfax WA 509-288-4652. I did not pick up and no voice message was left.
At 3:43pm....this time showed Out of Area 509-288-4654 voice message left stated that the call was from the IRS and a lawsuit is being filed against us.

Got a call that I was being sued by the IRS and to call immediately.
