Called me at 6:40 in the morning. I picked up and hung up as obviously it wasn't a legitimate caller from the caller ID. Now blocked.

Have received three calls from this number today and nobody was there.  The last time I answered I didn't say anything and a recording came on saying that it was the IRS and that we had been audited and needed to get in touch with them, then the line went dead.  Have been receiving calls from this number for about a month and usually there is no one on the other end.

Getting numerous calls from this number daily. Very annoying and obviously a scam. Claims to be IRS

Stated that the IRS has been trying to contact us - filing liens - need to call today and gave the # 509-288-4990.  I have heard that this scam was going on...sad that people resort to this type of life...

Got call said IRS and they were coming to arrest me and take drivers license away unless I sent them 3900. I laughed they hung up.

Same as the rest.  I actually caught a rep there and they claimed to be calling from the IRS.  He had an older address and said that the IRS had audited me between 2008 and last year and that I owed $3880.  Seems to be the same amount that others are saying.  I told the guy I knew it was a scam and he told me if I felt that way I could hang up.

Definitely an IRS scam. Dudes with Indian accents claim to be IRS agents claiming that I owe $4,000 in back taxes and that I can settle the matter out of court as long as I send them the $4,000 using a moneygram. Total scam!!!!!!!!!

Recorded message that gave this number and claimed that the "IRS" is filing a lawsuit against me. Oh dear, I must call back right away! I'm thinking about doing it to kill some time during lunch and get some laughs in.

found a message on our machine with this telephone number 509-288-4990 saying that the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me.
Called & spoke with a rep named Peter Blake with a very heavy indian accent. said I owed $3900.00 in back taxes & fines between 2008-2013....He was very rude when I asked him for more information... I finally hung up on him...

Received two calls from this number. The first I didn't answer. The second time I was shopping and just answered on my earpiece. The computer was leaving a message that the IRS was calling and that I was to call back about a tax problem.

Got a message left on my phone...said I was being sued! Voice was a woman with a strong mid-eastern accent! Don't these callers have anything better to do with their time? So annoying. Don't ever call them back!

Called 2x left message saying the IRS is suing me.  Famous scam, they want you to use moneygram or greendot cards to pay.  Believe me,  if u owe the IRS they'll send you plenty of correspondence by mail,  not shake u down over the phone.

I reported this to tigta.gov. Hopefully this will put an eventual end to the calls. They have called me twice since today however.

I've had 5 calls from this number just so far today! Said were being sued by the IRS.

SCAM!  My caller ID read (509)288-4990 Colfax, WA. A recording said that we were being sued by the IRS. SCAM!  - The IRS will only contact you initially by mail, not phone, not email, not text, ONLY BY US MAIL

They said me and my daughter owes money fr IRS and we're being sued!
Wants to get money right away or police will get us and put us in jail !

We received 2 Robocall from 509-288-4990  today telling us that the IRS was filing a lawsuit against us. We should call this number back immediately.
Call them back and tell them that you know who they are and that you have filed a lawsuit against them for fraud.

Call from 509-288-4990 Claiming this was a final notice that the IRS and then said Internal Revenue Service was filing a case against us, for further information on this case call 50-288-4990

Called my home phone and claimed that IRS was in the process of filing suit against me/us.  Obviously a bogus call, IRS knows how to find me and has no reason to be filing suit.  Anyway, that kind of notification would have been preceded by all sorts of written mail, some of it certified.  Return calls to same number were not completed.
