Caller is recorded saying they are the IRS and trying to contact me.

Got two of those calls today saying we are being sued by the IRS. Who are these idiots?

Got a call from a number I didn't recognize three times finally answered it was somebody saying they were the IRS and they were going to arrest me unless I paid them the money they said I owed them!

Short answer:
The IRS never initiates a contact via phone.
They always send a snailmail first.

Calling saying they were the IRS and coming to arrest me .. Called them back and they had some vulgar things to say after I asked for their credentials . These people need to be locked up

JUST got this. PAY NOW or go to jail...whew, so thankful I know better than to fall for this stuff

Got a call from a person with this phone number, IRS recieved a complaint about you and you need to contact us asap BS, when I asked if they were IRS agents and not a scammer the person hung up.

total scam message left saying I was being sued. # id'd from Spokane. called and operator said they were the IRS in DC. and there was a warrant for my arrest. they hung up after I messed with him for a munite.

Recording told my IRS was suing me. This is a scam as I know if the IRS was after me they would write me a letter and resolve the issue in other ways.

4 calls just today !  ! ! Scammmmmmmm bs.

They say something like, "We have been trying to reach you. The IRS is filing a lawsuit against you. This is your final notice"  I called the phone company and had them blocked after the 3d call today
