Received call from "Internal Revenue Services" (they can't even get the name right) regarding a law suit being filed for past taxes. Clearly a scam.

Got a call from this number say The IRS is filing a lawsuit against me, BS!!!!!

Received a call from this number stating The reason 'of' this call is the IRS is filing a lawsuit against you.... Not true!!

SAME AS THE OTHERS, IRS SUING ME....,,I CALLED BACK and a foreign speaking woman answered on the 3rd ring,,,,BS SCAM!!!!

I called them and they told me I'm being sued by IRS but when I told them IRS did my taxes they hung up.

Just like the rest.  IRS supposedly suing me.

I received 4 messages from this number today, all telling me that I needed to call back right away because the IRS is planning to file a lawsuit against me.  Same story.  I couldn't understand the woman, asked her to let me speak with someone else.  She was silent.  I asked for her supervisor.  Silence.  I hung up and reported it to the IRS as a scam.

I recieved a msg today saying the same thing that I was being sued. Call the number back and it doesn't go through. The IRS does not call.

Called the last three days stating that the IRS was "filing lawsuit against me". SCAM. I hope that they learn soon that I am not falling for their scam and quit calling.

Same as above,I called them back phone rang 15 times woman answered could not understand her.Finaly she told me she was the I.R.S. 10/7/15

Auto voice telling me it was the IRS last chance to get up with me before filing a lawsuit against me. I need to call to get my case number and to pay before time run out. SCAM I hung up.

10/7/15 - here in Virginia, had 3 messages on voicemail from 509-346-6050, same scenario. Knew right away it was a scam posing scare tactic with "lawsuit" language. Like other posters said here, couldn't get name right nor do they call you.

Got an automated call, tried to call them back, the number is allways busy.  I realize this is a scam, just want to jack them around.

Called on landline at least three times stating there is a law suit against me. Callers number busy signal?

This is a scam. IRS will not call you to leave this message. The message left on answering machine is choppy and that is also another clue. Here is another number given to call "IRS" that is a scam number... 202-580-8379. I'm glad that we can posts these messages as a warning.
