Message on my phone saying they received a legal application regarding a tax fraud against my name and Social Security number and this case is about to get registered, so before anything goes wrong I need to call them back at this number - 1-509-346-6051.     Please investigate, this has happened more than one and needs to be STOPPED!

I got the same message about a tax fraud the irs or social security would not call with this
information . It is a scam don't even bother replying to it. Once you do they will sell your number and then every scam artist willbe calling you!!!!!

Got a call from this number, an automated voice telling me that there was a case against me with the IRS, and some fraud with my social security number.  This has happened before.  It's fraud.  DO NOT give them information.  When I called the IRS before to check the validity of calls like this....I was informed that they don't call, they show up!

I have received the same call.  I hope this is a fraud call

It is definitely a fraud call. It originates in Washington State. I have received a call from the 509 area code and it was a fraud too.

My wife recieved a call from Daniel Parker(1-509-346-6051) claiming to be from the IRS investigating my SS# for tax fraud. So I googled the # and thank you all for the info. It kinda freaked me out at first. I went the IRS web site, I found this on their site. Hope it helps. It was under:

You receive a phone call from someone claiming to be from the IRS but you suspect they are not an IRS employee ...
Record the employee's name, badge number, call back number and caller ID if available.
Call 1-800-366-4484 to determine if the caller is an IRS employee with a legitimate need to contact you.
If the person calling you is an IRS employee, call them back.
If not, report the incident to TIGTA and to us at phishing@irs.gov (Subject: 'IRS Phone Scam')

I also got an automated message from a Daniel Parker from the audit department with IRS regarding some kind of application filed about tax fraud on my SSN.  I'm pretty certain that the IRS does not make calls about something as confidential as that.  The phone number was the same as well, 1-509-346-6051.
