509-587-4587. the last" notice" for   IRS lawsuit.

There is a widespread IRS (or CRA) or "tax scam" being  practiced by scammers on both USA and Canadian residents.

Short answer:
The IRS never initiates a contact via phone.
They always send a snailmail first.

Quickly added to my auto-reject list on my phone. Doubtful IRS calls are going to be coming from Washington state. Ahh scammers, I'm starting to equate them to other serious offenders that violate the public.

Call from 509-361-1005 is a complete scam. Claims to be from IRS.

IRS never will call you and ask you for payment - will only come via mail.

Called but didn't leave message.

didn't leave msg, and wouldn't answer when I called back.

Rang twice, hung up. Called back and was greeted with an automated message stating that I had won a $100 rebate card.

Obvious scam

This number called about 4 pm on May 13. Didn't answer, no message.

Oh they're on the loose!  They must be going nuts with a new list on their auto dialer.

Got a missed call from this number, no message. Caller ID said it was from Washington state.

It's not working guys.  I'm not sure what planet you're from but it's so obvious to everyone in here on this board what's going on it just hurts.  Really? Do y'all think we're that stupid?

Oh and your friends from Florida just learned what eventually happens to scam artists.  It's called prison and i do hope you're ready.  Cheers!

I received a call today from these scum. A few months back I answered a call from a number I did not know, and the caller claimed it was "the IRS." He identified himself with an American sounding name, yet an Indian/Pakistani accent. I asked him how the weather was in Mumbai and he abruptly hung up.

this number has called me twice.  Rings two times and  then hangs up.   I did not try to call them back as if they want me they would leave a message.  or wait for me to pick up.

They called but left no msg. They have been added to my reject list.

They told me they wanted to send me $100 gift card,  but that I just needed to pay $4.95 to activate it.  I said no thank you at this time but maybe I'll call you back later.  He said make sure I contact him when I call back at any time,  his name is John Sosa.  Guess he wanted to make sure his friend next to him wasn't the one that got to rob me if I ever called it back again

Number call my cell phone.  I am on the "Do Not Call" list, for whatever good that does !!

They keep calling my cell phone. It's some kind of scam about the IRS wanting my SS#.
