I receive a call saying they was the IRS and I'm trying to see if it's fraud.

This #is a fraud. Always ask for a IRS number

Yes...BIG YES...it is a SCAM, it is FRAUD.   Make it your policy to NEVER answer calls from persons you don't know or numbers you don't recognize.  Get a call blocker or call blocking phone, and a call blocking app for your cell.  If you want to find out who is calling from an unknown number, come here to 800 notes, post your experience and others may have an answer for you.

The number 509-361-1066 called me and said they were IRS and he wanted my money.

IRS called to say I owe lots of money. Knew it was fraud but I listened to their spill.

Want to really annoy an Indian scammer? Say tera choda bar bar choda  to them. You can also say their money will come up thru their toilet. Not sure why this offends them

i love this site, i have been called, and have charges filed against me, so now in turn i get their number and call them first!!!!!!! it;s so worth it. if we get their number and harass them first, maybe they'll stop.

Scam scam scam, never answer phone, never!!! Only use phone to make outgoing calls. Haha

They want you to buy iTunes cards. Google images of the cards. Mark down the 16 char codes. Call them and give them the codes very slowly.

James Anderson from the IRS called and left a message..he's been trying to reach me.  Can you say B/S? when is this nonsense going to stop?!

Tried to have a little fun with this number...so I called James back and asked him what the jig was? He was confused. I asked where he's located at the IRS - he's in Pakistan. A real deadpan guy -- I told him to get a real job or else he's going to hell.  He mentioned Karma to me.  smdh don't we sent Pakistan enough aid?

Marvin Hill -- this is absolutely FRAUD caller.  Call the number right now ... see how fast the guy picks up and claims he's from the IRS.  Never in my living days has an IRS agent answered the call on the first or second ring.  Heck - recently I was on  hold for 3 hours+ just to get to the first point of contact.  IT'S A FRAUD NUMBER!!

The newest drink game with my friends: We are calling this number with our phones. If you can keep the scammer on the line for 3 minutes, you get a drink. Hints: Tell them you are front of a Walgreens, Walmart, Target, etc. Play along! Tell him you got the iTunes cards. Keep asking the scammer to repeat himself.
