answered without looking at caller I.D.  Voice said I won a trip to Cancon, Mexico. I hung up. Also area code 604 B.C.

called my cell number in Vancouver. Didn't recognize ,didn't answer.

Someone called my cell phone from 1-509-362-9996 and did not leave a message.  I don't answer numbers I don't recognize and now I understand why.

GOT A CALL ON MY CELL PHONE. IT WAS AN AUTOMATED SPANISH RECORDING.. I THINK THEY WANTED TO SELL ME A MEXICAN. I TOLD THEM IN FRENCH THAT I HAD TOO MANY MEXICANS ALREADY AND THEY SHOULD CALL ALL OF YOU BACK AND APPOLOGIZE....

called my 847 area code cell phone (Illinois), i picked up, but there was nothing, no recording, no voice.

answered call from this number and a woman (don't know if it was recorded) started rattling off Spanish.

Pre-recorded message in Spanish received on my cell phone that is on the FTC do not call list.

Got the same call today at 13:28 EST. I'm on a Rogers cell phone in Canada. Didn't answer.

Did you hear about the problems with the Do Not Call centre in Canada?
Turns out the Do Not Call list is available to any scam artist and sleazy companies who request the list and claim they will not call but actually are calling the numbers on the list.

The Centre is refusing the change the process and screen all requests to access the list.
The purpose of the Centre was to help protect consumers, but their foolish management actually puts people at increased risk of being harassed by scam artists and annoyed by solicitors who can not take NO for a reply.

Canadians need to complain to the Centre and the conservative government for this crap

Got same call in the morning in Canada.  Do not generally pick up LD calls.

Received a call on my business line in Spanish- It is annoying

Call came in at 7:44PM est on 02/02/2009 and it looked as follows;  +509-362-9996, needless to say, I didn't answer the call and won't, buyer beware.

Just got this call at 8:28pm Central time.
In Illinois (near Chicago)
didn't leave any message.
