What is the purpose of this call? It is the second that I've received.

Received 09/09/2015, about 09:30 EDT

I am told to immediately call this number 509-588-7041. It also appears on the call ID box, so I call and it's busy.
I know the IRS doesn't call, they send letters. Especially since I am semi-retired and pay so little tax that it is "in the noise."

If I did have an error, the IRS would probably lose on the cost of postage.

And, yes, I did forget to report the 40-odd cents interest I made on  my checking acct last year...I am shaking in my boots over that one!

Scam call from "IRS" with identical message and voice as yesterday's call from 5092520811.

I got a call from this number as well. Second day in a row about a law suit against me. Does not say who they are or who the law suit is against. After reading Gorillas post I did something I do not do. I called the number. A busy signal. It is now blocked. Call is from Benton City, WA.

Got the same call this morning.  Has to be a scam,
The IRS would never call,  they send very detailed letters.

Same call as reported by others.  Two days in a row.  Scam! IRS doesn't work this way.  How can we report them?  This has to be illegal!
