Recording stated that caller was IRS and that lawsuit had been filed.  IRS does not any such calls.  Caller did not ask for anyone specific and line busy when I call back. SCAM!!!!

They called to say that I owe taxes in the amount of 5000.00 and if I don't pay there will be an arrest warrant placed under my name.

They said they were from the irs, i knew the irs doesn't make these calls and i continued to call back. They said f-u, they hung up on me and then the next call they said it was a personal cell phone. Beware!

A robot voice said this is the IRS and we are issuing a law suit against you, please call the number ( they left ).  IRS doesn't make robot calls.  Call came from 509-588-7301 in Benton City WA.

I got the same call

Just got this same call...I called back, no stumped it was scam and would never give any info over a phone anyway. The IRS won't call they'd send paperwork.

IRS Scam:

The IRS does not need to sue anyone.  They send you first class letters delivered by the Post Office.  Several of them.  Ignore those, and they then send certified letters that you need to sign for.  Again delivered by the Post Office.  Ignore those and they simply freeze your bank accounts and anything else you own.  If they can do that, then why would they bother with a court case that might take them years before they get in front of a judge?  They also do not bother arresting people for a few thousand dollars for the same reasons I have already given.

I have gotten 5 of these calls this morning.  Wish I could shoot the person behind this scam in the face!

Called three times today saying a lawsuit would be filed against me by the IRS

I have received the same number 5 times today, first I got a voicemail so i called back and got ahold of someone. I know they have a false name pulled up for the number so when I called they said mr so and so I said wrong number f*** face take the number off the list and he had a real attitude saying he would. 4 times later I get the call from them. Anyone know some good phone centers I can privide this number too? I'd like them to get phone calls back and forth on eachother

Got 4 calls today and i already knew about this scam through local news. Blocked this number and wont call them back. Let the voice mail pick up. Pieces of garbage that do this to people!

have gotten 4 messages today (every 2 hrs starting at 8am)  with a recorded voice saying to call this number or IRS will file suit. this is fraudulent and obnoxious. hopeople no one gets harmed by this!
