Two voice messages left in past hour stating that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me.  They want me to call back.  Sounds like a major scam to me

I received a call from this number.  It was a recording states that this was my final notice.  It said that the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me.  I called the number back and asked who it was.  HE rattled off an name (officer...) and 'badge number'.  I asked him what he wanted and said that my cell phone number was not registered with the IRS.  HE immediately hung up.  Definitely a scam!

IRS is suing me.... Also calling from 206-452-3478.  The IRS does not call anyone.  If there is a problem you are notified by mail.

I got a call that the IRS had a warrant out and seized my bank account.  Then he said he wanted $2,500  out of my bank account.   I told him this was a scam and then he hung up.  He said his name was officer Phillips.

Got a call stating that I had a warrant for my rest seizing my bank accounts going to take my whole license being suspended in a matter of minutes and the police were on the way to Arista me need to obtain a criminal attorney and bring $75,000 for my release all because I was filing a fraudulent tax return for years this call is from the IRS major SCAM

TO ALL---The IRS mails letters if there is a problem.  These thieves are probably in India or Pakistan.

Called me too.  Was so disappointed I didn't get a live "operator".  Would have LOVED to scam them right back.  The IRS would never call someone directly.  They always send a letter.

Same as for others. A recorded message saying the IRS is filing suit against me and giving a number to call. Total, absolute scam. Nothing about it is believable. May these folks rot in hell.

Same criminal IRS call as others reported. Will report to the FBI.

Same here, automated message claiming IRS lawsuit against me.

They left a message at my place in Arcadia CA. 10/19/15 12:07PM this was not the end of it.... My social # was already used on someone else's tax return. I feel so sorry for those who call my office believing this trash is on the level. Too bad these folks can't use their time productively.
