I received a call from this number saying that the IRS was going to sue me.  I called the number back and asked them where they were located  and a heavily accented voice informed me that they were located in Washington DC  even though the area code is obviously on the other side of the continent.  I am so tired of people ignoring the do not call law!   And on top of that this is obviously a scam.

Robo call..very distorted with foreign sounding voice saying they've been trying to reach me for a long time re IRS situation...immediately hung up.  Something needs to be done by the FCC to stop these annoying calls.

Same as above.  A robotic sounding female voice informs me that this is my final notification that IRS is filing a lawsuit against me.  I should call the above number immediately.  Yah, like I'm gonna do that.  Your choices of call type below are insufficient.  This is most likely a phishing attempt.

Kept getting a call and finally left a robotic message. I did call back because they said it was the IRS suing me. I immediately noticed it was a scam and refused to give any info. They aggressively said I would be arrested within 2 hours. I told hem where he can go and he said to look up at the sky and I will see a bomb coming down from Pakistan to destroy the U.S.

I couldn't understand the name of the company due to his heavy accent. I told him this number belonged to a Heather Johnson according to my caller ID. The IRS would send a letter and not call me. However, he swore he was from the IRS, and I was being sued by them.

    FYI
Hi all... My mom just called me freaking out about a similar call. When I called back identifying myself only by the number they had called... they got frustrated because of all the questions I was asking, Example: Why the threat, who they were, why they needed my tax ID. After a few minutes they said "This is a scam and don't waist your time calling us back" I asked if they were serious... he replied... "yes, we were trying to scam you so don't waist your time call us back.." And he hung up.
I called the IRS and they said they never call homes with threats, but Instead, they send snail mail. So beware.... we were prepared but only after falling for the trap when my brother was threatened with his families life. He paid 3k.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

How is this company still able to make these calls?  Just got one today and I can see the oldest ones being from July of last year.  Seems somehow someone should be able to shut them down.   I just call blocked that number for future calls.

Received two calls from this number. A robotic voice announced they were from the IRS and had been trying to contact me and this was my final notice before they would sue me. Obviously a scam. 1) I pay my taxes in full. 2) The IRS would contact me by US mail. 3) If they called me it would be from a person, not a robot and 4) They would know my name and have other details other than just my phone number.
