automated message about IRS filing a suit

I let it go to voicemail. It was an electronic message saying the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me and to call back.

Prerecorded message claiming to be the IRS saying I owed money for taxes and instructed me to call back at the same number.  This is a scam.

Same call ..... Saying there was a lawsuit against me. lol. right.

Received a recorded message saying it was the IRS and they were filing a suit against me. I was to return the call to the department number. My tax man said its a scam. IRS does all of their inquiries by mail.

Sounds like SCAM. Message starts in the middle.Threatenslawsuit. When I called and finally got a human, I asked who this message was intended for and person hanged up on me. Voice appeared American andmale. No accent.

I got a voicemail about a lawsuit being brought against me from the IRS . I won't reply.

I got a message from this number.  Same thing as everyone else.  Claiming to be the IRS filing a lawsuit.  If the IRS were filing a lawsuit, they would not call you.  Scam

This is a scam they told me I will have warrant out me and I will go to jail if I didn't pay them they even passed the phone around because they could not scam me they have a whole storie line what to say . Stupid mujahead POS thick indian accent started cussing at me total scam.

Received 19 calls yesterday from (509) 346-6041, Othello, Washington, indicating IRS collection. Did not answer the phone and blocked calls.Today a phone call came in from 509-588-7566 in Washington. Did not answer and blocked the number. I called the Sheriff department and they said there is nothing anyone can do because these are not legitimate numbers. Just block them and don't answer. We're getting other scam calls as well. Once you hit 65 your name gets on lists that are sold to these scum bags. I'm tempted to give up our home phone after many years. But, it's part of our internet and cable service.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

509-588-7566 called with the robo message as many other folks received that law suite was being filed by the IRS..
My number is regret erred wit the nocalllist, don't call again.  Complaints have been registered to two other area's.  This is a SCAM!!!!

Scam call purportedly from IRS saying they are filing suit. I NEVER pick up the phone and answer a call if I don't recognize the number. And I NEVER call back. You are a fool if you do. I they can't reach you, they can't harm you.

Received two calls from 509-588-7566 left a message telling me I was having a suit filled against me by the IRS.  I called them back.  I asked what the address was of the IRS building they were in..... he did not know it!!  i asked his name  he said Kevin Hall.... the funny thing is he has a super thick accent.  I asked him how he got his accent with such a American sounding name.  He said he was born in America but then moved away to another country.  I then said...so you are in another country... not at the IRS???/  He started stumbling all over himself.  SCAM!!!

Robo call said the IRS is suing me, call number back. Received 2 calls on voicemail within a minute. Voice sounded Asian, LOL

Received automated female message claiming lawsuit and left same number to call back. Recorded part of conversation, heavy Indian accent in a phone room with many callers. Asked for a SS# and they gave us one, the wrong one, Thought my daughter was my wife, even though they called for me last week threatening me as well. When you pin them down on questions they hang up, so I called twice. Informed them that the conversation was being recorded. They even gave me a case number which we will check. They have outdated info - old addresses. Area code was 509 this time, 520 last week.
SCAM!! Don't pay online, get a case number and tell them you will check with the IRS.
