Received another call from from Benton City, WA claiming to be the the IRS and stating there is a law suit against me  and to call back to find out more on Sat received a call from supposedly the IRS  phone no. 706-844-1784 Southern Linc  M call back no. Why can't the government follow up on these  nos.

Got the same message. Called back to see if it was a scam or not. Number is not accepting calls. So yeah a scam. Here's need to be stopped

Calls originate in India and Pakistan.  They put CIDs of Washington State and Washington DC, not knowing the difference bvy thinking they can trick people into thinking the calls somehow are official communications about taxes. The spoof local numbers too.   Ignore and block.
