I got 1 call yesterday and 2 today! I tried to call back but I either got a busy signal or it just kept ringing and ringing.

Okay, so I've been having fun with these guys.  They called me a couple months back so I figured them out then.  Today, the called me again.  I played along this time telling what they wanted to hear.  "Oh, golly, did I mess up my tax returns again?" ...  "You say I owe you-all $3,421, is that just for the one year or is that per year and I'd have to pay you-all live $15K... because I got that right here and I could give it to you if I need to..."   "You, have $15K in your house right now?"  "Why sure, don't you?"  "No, I do not - but why didn't you pay your income taxes?  "Well, I thought I did, but because I have so much money coming in all the time with my business, sometimes I get the numbers wrong, you understand don't you?"  "No sir, I don't!"  "Well, I'll tell you what... if you want be to just give you a check or cash for an even $20K to  make up for your troubles, I'll be happy to do it... just send a fella over from your agency and I'll be happy to give it to him in cash - smaller bills if that's okay?"   "No, we would like you to wire us or pay it via a credit card and we can do it now over the phone, or we will send the Magistrate/Sheriff to come and arrest you"  "Nah, I don't do wiring money or credit cards, my business is strictly cash.  The bills may be dirty and smaller denomination or blood tinged but that's how I prefer doing business. You send your fella over I'll give him a satchel of money to square things up."  "We are going to send the magistrate/sheriff!"  "Your gunna send Tyrone, well hell, he was just here this weekend for the Indian/Asian Lynching - I mean barbeque... You send him right over, I think he owes me a few things too and we can settle all at once... Why don't you come along, I got some friends I think who would like to meet you"  .... "WTH...(hangup sound)"

Yes, I got the same phone call on Saturday and then today I received two of them. Do they think people are stupid? Thanks for clarifying that I am not the only one getting these calls.

I received TWO Calls today from different numbers.  I don't answer unfamiliar calls.  Both times, they left a message with the same call back number: 509-790-0043.  I don't fall for this stuff, but what infuriates me is that the poor seniors and uniformed people out there easy targets for these criminals.

I received many calls from this number and because I don't answer, It went to voice mail. It's about urging us to call back immediately to another number 509 872 5502 ... about IRS !!! Crazy !!

These people called and said they are from the IRS and it is their final attempt to contact me and if I don't call back they will file suit against me. phone number 509-643-4427 is the number they called from and it was from Sunnyside WA

they are now using the number 509-790-0348.
