This is a general Safeco number.  It may show up if an auto or home claim adjuster has to call you for information about a claim.  I work for a healthcare system and get calls from this number often when adjusters call me back regarding medical bills.  

never let someone know you are living alone in your home that could be pranks they could be people who want to know that so that they can get inside your house when your done and steal things never never do that

A message left on answering machine said to call 509-921-5100, a Tom (something) from SAFECO.   He said it looked like we had moved to Calif and that would affect our car insurance.  Nope, haven't moved so called Safeco Customer Service.  Nothing about address change and the customer service rep did not have a listing of this number for Safeco.    Never call back to a number you don't know, especially when it is a long distance call.  A legitimate business should have a toll free number.  Call the company directly to find out what is going on first.

It is Safeco Insurance. May have various reasons for calling as stated prior. For me I believe they were calling based on a claim so, it may just be a main number that shows for verification purposes. If they are calling, they may have important info so you may reconsider blocking them.

"DO NOT SPEAK TO ANY ANY ANY INSURANCE CLAIMS PERSON" > >>> my suggestion is "listen to your hired attorney"   Because they know what's up!

Safeco medical adjuster returning my call.

turned out to be a legitimate call letting me know about the claims adjuster for an accident where their insured person hit me from behind. I was surprised that it came from Washington DC and I am in South Carolina.

509 is a Washington state area code.

Supposedly Liberty Mutual Insurance who owns Safeco. A Micheal Carney has called a few times leaving a message that we have moved to Florida and wants to verify our address change and help get  with our car and motorcycle insurance in Florida. We have Safeco, but have always used our local insurance agent. My husband called the agent to find out what's going on. They called Safeco and Safeco claims they are not calling us. They are checking into it. I did call this number which states it's Liberty Mutual. I also called the number Micheal left and it says he's out to leave a message.

Caller was Liberty Mutual getting back to me on questions I had.

I do not have Safeco Insurance and never have. There is no valid reason for this company to be calling me as I have never done business with them and my number is on the not very effective DO NOT CALL LIST. Will report.

This is safeco  auto ins  they just wanted to ask me a question...no problems

They call my phone all hours of the night and day it is driving me nuts!!!!!
