They have called 4-5 times today already and left a voicemail, sounds like a scam about social security..."press 1, thank you".

Social security scam. Received 3 calls so far today. Grammatical errors in the message. Message is a text-to-speech engine, not a human. SSA has never called me with an automated call, it's always been a human. Multiple RED FLAGS!

I was receiving multiple calls a day from a Texas based number. Kept blocking then would receive from another number, same area code. Now I'm receiving them from this area code. They are all SS scams.

They keep calling me non-stop, in the past hour they have already called 3 times!

Social security scam. I have received 8 missed calls/voicemails in the last 6 hours from them.

They just called 3 times in 10 minutes and left a robot speaking voicemail about SSN, scam!!

Social Security Scam - have called my cell phone 2x today at it is only 9:30 am!

Called 4 x within 30 minutes and left 4 voice mails in a computer generated voice claiming to be from Social Security.  Social Security does not contact you in this manner.  This is a scam.

I got several calls from this number.

Robo voice left msg saying suspicious activity on my social security account and to press 1 to speak to an agent.

Got a call on my cell phone saying they were from Social Security and that my SSN was compromised to call them at 510-112-7901.  It's a scam!!!!  Social Security doesn't do that.  https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/blog/2018/12/fake-calls-about-your-ssn

The number is invalid; the NXX (central office exchange/prefix) first digit must be 2-9, but this forged caller id has it as 1.  The phone carriers should recognize this invalid caller id and not complete the call!  Reported to the FCC and requested that they require all carriers to validate the number and not complete calls with invalid numbers.

Like others, this is a robo (prerecorded/synthesized voice) with a Social Security scam.  As other mentioned, the grammar of the recording reveals that the scam is likely from someone who is not a native English speaker (hint that it is a scam).

This and other Social Security scam robo calls is now the most prevalent call that I am receiving, with 7 calls within the last 11 days.

“This call is from the Department of Social Security Administration the reason you have received this phone call from our department is to inform you that we just suspend your Social Security number because we found some suspicious activity so if you want to know about this case just press one “

Number called 5 times in a day. Answered the 6th time, pressed 1. When person with accent answered I stated, "Take me off of you list." They hung up on me.

Call for Social Security issue 3 times today. Scam for sure.

This number called several times (4-5) left 3 automated voicemails. Answered a call and it lead me to a foreign person telling me my SSN has been suspended due to suspicious activity and that there is an arrest warrant out for me! .. This person, who sounded Indian to me, told me his name was Officer Eric Shaw with a badge number of 417G2741 (perhaps change G to a J? It was difficult to understand which letter he said). He tried to get other information out of me but instead I ended the call. Don't give them any information!!!
