Scammers. Trying to claime I owe a payday loan and leagle matters will be taken. They want you to send you money. They will cuss you out if you try to disagree with them and say that you  will go to jail.  They called me every name in the book because I wouldn't agree to send them money. They keep calling and calling.

The next time they call let them know your phone lines have been tapped and are being monitored by the FBI. See how fast they hang up.

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

How stupid these people are!  They seem to think they can scare people into paying them something anyway, and some probably do.  They obtain information from other sources and think they can get money out of someone.  Play them by asking for supervisors and management and then asking for their ID number as a debt collection agency.  Amazing what they forget to have when they are trying to scam someone.
Don't be fooled by the phone numbers.  They are buying time on computer phone lines and are located in some back room overseas.  
Don't fall for their tricks.

I RECEIVED A CALL TELLING ME TO CALL BCK AND IF NOT THEY WILL TAKE LEGAL MATTERS AGAINST ME. SO I CALLED BACK AND THEIR WAS NO ANSWER....THE VOICE WAS KIND OF INDIAN....CAN'T HARDLY UNDERSTAND HIM THOUGH.

I just got it today. I was so freaked out I left work an barrowed the money and was about to deposit. But my boyfreind had a weird feeling so we googled it. his name is Danny Rogers an yes it is an indian accent very hard to understand. he said I would be arrested at my job in one hour if I didnt do it. After I saw this I am not goin to give him the 645.00 he wants. Thank you all for posting this. I was so freaked out. Now I just need to block his number from calling me.

I got from this number today. It scared the hell out of me. The caller said I have a payday loan n needed to pay them 1300 or they will come to my house or job to lock me up. I was scared so ISTARTED CALLING PEOPLE TO GET MONEY FROM. I was crying so went online to find help n what do you know they almost had my money.

Yes i received this phone call this morning telling me the police were on the way to my job and a order was being processed at the court house. I gave him the name and phone number to a lwayer and the call ended with a hang up on his end.  I wish there was way to prosecute them.

Received a phone call at my job from the a "Danny Rogers" calling from "Morgan & Associates Lawfirm" from this number claiming that I owe a payday loan and that I need to give them $645.00 or I will be arrested.  He said he was sending the police in an hour.  He insisted I put the money in my bank account to be withdrawn and if not the police were coming in an hour.  Very upset that I am being harrassed at my workplace out of all places.  I have no idea how they get contact info, full name, job info and supposedly have my SS#.

After receiving the call I immediately googled the phone number and found all these postings of complaints.  I also googled the lawfirm and numerous complaints of harrassing phone calls came up.

PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THESE CALLS.  AND DO NOT SEND/GIVE MONEY.  Get the police involved, contact your bank and credit cards to be on the safe side and request a free copy of your credit report to see any activities you are not aware of.
