They call alot and often when you pick up thephone you hear things in the background but thats it. we tried calling back, hit the prompt #5 to be removed from whatever list they are working from. Guess what--it did no good.Wish the phone company would look into this..

A man with an Indian accent called me from this number telling me that I called him for help with my more than 10K in medical bills I told him I didn't call him and be argued with me telling me that I did and he was returning my call to help me telling me all I needed to do was give him some information. I told him I didn't call him and he got really smart with me so I told him to go F off and he hung up on me.  I tried to call back but got a recording telling me that all representatives were busy and someone would call back.  Screw those Indians!!

I was getting call from this number numerous times a week. Never answered because I didn't recognize the number. glad to find this site where others report these incidents. I have an android Cell phone and if you download the app "CM Security" there's a feature in the app that has a database like this website of reported complaints. when the number comes in as a received call attempt, the app actually lets you know before you answer whether there have been complaints for this number and or if it's a scam or telemarketer. so now all i get is notifications that this number was blocked. saves the headache and disturbance for these calls. the only problem is these scammers jump numbers and will try from a different number to see if they can get ya. Never give out personal information to these people, they will steal your identity. I've had it happen and they drained my entire bank acct. be careful folks, with just a few simple pieces of critical information, someone can open up credit in your name. Your address, your birthday, and definitely never give out your SSN. friggin lowlifes of the world can't friggin work and wanna make a dollar from someone elses hard work. Maybe they should earn an honest living like majority of us in the world do, trying to make a living by working hard not taking from other ppl who work hard. It is sad and despicable. How does someone live with themselves taking from innocent ppl.

I get a call from them 3-4 times a day. Saying that I'm in need of their insurance. It got to the point I changed my number. They asked for my SSN and bank account the first time. I was like are you crazy if you were really the government you wouldn't need to ask. The last week I just keep hanging up on them and asked countless times to be on the don't call list

Received this call many times. When I answered it was a man with an accent. When I told him to remove me from his list he responded "I will remove your number but not you." Creepy." When I tried calling back received "agents are busy..." Obvious scam

receive many calls per week but no one says anything

This number has called repeatedly each day at varied times over the course of the past week, never leaves a message. Sometimes the CID reads "AmeriFinancialNe" and other times simply the number where the name should be. However the CID reads, however, it all spells "scam" in big, bold letters.

I have received 2 calls in 2 days.  They know my name and both times they say, I don't know if you remember talking to me but we spoke last week and we are going to help you with your finances.  I told them that I have NOT spoken to them before and NOT to call me again.  They called me on my direct telephone number at work!

I've been getting calls from this number,a woman with a hearvy acent calls them me i own $10,000 in medical debt and she called me last week and i promised to send her a payment.(1) this is the first time i"m hearing about this promise or the $10,000 debt i know i don't have. She saids, i can send her a cerftified check and she'll make it go away. I told her to go away and that i was going to check this out for myself she hung up called back and said nothing.

Thanks to all who have posted notes here.  Much appreciated.  Like a lot of you, called, left no message.  Number is now blocked.  FTC and DO NOT CALL lists are totally inadequate for this sort of thing -- these are more than likely spoofed numbers and nothing can be done to stop them using a computer program to robocall.  They need to get real jobs.

I got the same thing. Except mine was a heavy accent computer voice.

Got a call eariler saying that the IRS had filed a criminal complaint against me and he needs to hear from me or my attorney asap. Guess I'll talk to umy attorney and listen to them laugh at me.

Call me n a heavi Indian accent I couldn't understand her !!! But she know my name n she told me 9,000 dollars I dint know wat she was talking about !!  This is a scam tire of this calls !!

Calls multiple times a day saying we owe money to Kohls on an old account that has been pad off

Calls again and again and says nothing. Sounds more of a phone scammer

States they are US treasury & finance and they want to send me a check for 9 thousand dollars. I've asked them to remove me from call list but they continue to call approximately 20 times a day, morning til night. I am fed up with these people!!!

I have got a call from this number also and they want that tell me that I just won a grant from school for me to go pick it up [***] this scammer
