Yep I got the same text as above today: "Need some quick cash?  You can easily get $1200 wired into your bank account today! For info, just reply back with the word "PAY". (To cancel: reply STOP)". I am so sick of getting this crap since I didn't ask them for it. If I want or need something I will  ASK for it stupid pieces of [***]!

I've been getting the very same thing.

The company is textforfunds.com. I believe they are also associated with bromacleanse.com.  I was receiving text messages every five days up until sunday.  Previous to Sunday, I was doing the same thing and replying stop and a new text would arrive five days later from a different number. On Sunday I decided that since my cell phone carrier couldn't help me, that I would reply "pay" to learn who they are. I checked on godaddy and they are registered with a private domain host who hides their true identity.  I was told to contact my local authorities and I did and they say that there is nothing that they can do.

I contacted the domain company and they say that every company has to have an opt out.  So he informed me to go to their website and on their contact us area write in your opt out message.

Here is what I wrote, "I get spam text messages from your company every five days. After discovering who you are, I get them daily. Each time I text stop, they keep coming from a completely different number. Please I would like this to permanently stop. Please opt out phone number ***-***-****.

The person with the domain company said that if they continue then you can report the company to abuse@secureserver.net.  He at first said to abuse@godaddy.com.  So I might report to both if I see another text message.

Hope this information helps.  I will post this whereever I can to help anyone being burdened with these same spam messages.

Also, I just spent hours reporting them to the FCC. If you are on the do not call list, you may do this too. Hopefully mine is in-depth enough for them to get started. I answered everything throughly and attached a 7 page document of information. I want it to stop.

The FCC directed me to this website http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm?sid=d1e37&id=d1e132
and told me to click the link towards the bottom right which says, "Continue to Online Form".

Again, I am hopeful that my submission will serve for the most of us...

I can tell by what you wrote that you're a nice person but this is not a nice world.
Textforfunds.com is registered to Domains By Proxy, Inc. which in turn is allegedly owned and operated by GoDaddy to shelter the actual owners of dubious websites and you'll get no help from GoDaddy. Why? Because domainsbyproxy is doing precisely what GoDaddy wants it to do - shelter owners of dubious websites. Why would GoDaddy help victims of these dubious websites when it's GoDaddy itself that enables these websites to exist in the first place? They pay $$$ to GoDaddy to shelter them, why would GoDaddy turn off a source of revenue? GoDaddy told you to email secureserver.net? Do you know secureserver.net 97.74.104.208 is also another GoDaddy operation (GoDaddy owns the range 97.74.X.X)? They're just giving you the runaround. You'll get no help from GoDaddy on domainsbyproxy websites.
And no, your single submission will not "serve for the most of us." The FCC (or FTC, FBI, etc.) won't do anything based on a single complaint. They're collecting data to watch for patterns of widespread abuse so hundreds (thousands?) have to complain before they'll do anything, *IF* they do anything. They're swamped with so many complaints that they can only deal with the most egregious ones. Everyone must report to maximize the chance something will be done. Also report to the Internet Crime Complaint Center http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx , the Federal Trade Commission https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/ and your state AG.
