got a call at 9:56 am said it's from Berkley CA. I'm on the east coast so that means it was 6:56 in CA. Who makes phone call that early?? Didn't answer, they didn't leave a message. I'll block it. It was on my cell.

Keep getting called several times a day from this number. From the San Francisco Bay area. They never leave a voice mail and I won't answer a call from anyone I don't already know. I recently cancelled a subscription to an Arizona new paper. I'm getting angry as its very harassing having them repeatedly call me.

They don't take your name off their list when you ask, too.

Actually, even if you did business with them, if you tell them to never call you again they must remove you from their call list.  If they do not, they are subject to a $16,000 fine.

This is the third time they have called me, and I actually recorded the call.  I have since filed a complaint with the FTC.  I would suggest everyone do the same, because this company is a major offender when it comes to unwanted telemarketing calls. Their paper sucks, too.  When I was a subscriber, they billed me but rarely delivered my paper.  I will never do business with them again.

People, please file a complaint with the FTC at https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx.  There are too many of these unwanted, harassing calls from these newspapers owned by Hearst.  They need to be whacked with some fines.  You CAN complain even if you have done business with them, as long as you have told them NOT to call you again.

Think its the Gannett Company, Inc.  I also cancelled AZ republic.  Call was rude as hell.  

I got a call today, no message. Called back using *67 to block my number on their caller ID only to get a recording "No one is available to take your call. Goodbye"

I cancelled my subscription to the San Antonio Express News last week...hmph...

Repeated calls from this number stating they are a newspaper service. I do not know, or at any time in the past subscribed to any newspapers or magazines. These calls are annoying.

They called me twice today I answered the second time said hello? They said is this the ***** residents? (They had my last name) I said no and they apologized.

Same here.  Cancelled Seattle PI and now getting the same calls.

They have called me several times when I call back you get a recording that no one is available to take your calls.  I put them on the block/reject list and they still continue to call several times a month even though it gets rejected and blocked. If you   Can't leave a message or good number for me to call you back then so long...not important..must be spam

I received a call from (510)-454-8255 asking me why I stopped taking the Columbus Dispatch newspaper.

I knew it was bogus because I am still getting the paper. This guy was very obnoxious.

Please find out who is making these calls... I am on the No-Call list and I let him know that.

I recently cancelled my Houston Chronicle. This number started calling to get me to re-subscribe. They are now on on my phone's auto reject list.

I unsubscribed from the Houston Chronicle after 15 weeks of missed deliveries. If you have an iPhone: Go to phone->Recents->i (with a circle around it)- Block this caller. Problem solved.

I cancelled my Houston Chronicle subscription and now this number is calling me over and over.
