I received a call from this supposed Law firm statign they were filing a lawsuit against me adn the sheriff would show up at my house tomorrow to arrest me. That my SSN has been used and I have 3 criminal complaints against me. Ihavent had so much as a speeding ticket. When i asked if this was a joke, he refused to let me speak with anyone adn said "if you think this is a joke wait until tomorrow" and hung up on me. I called back three times and he refused to let me speak with the supposed Senior Lawyer John Anderson.

its a scam just block the number or tell them you reported them to the FBI and the FTC. Let them know you know they are scammers!! tell them to go back under the rock they crawled out from!

If you've ever tried to take a loan out, they can get your information. We had the name James Watson though. Obviously, not american. It's a scam! Be careful and DO NOT give your information out to anyone!

This lady just called me and said I applied for a loan in March and didn't pay it back so she's sending the cops and hung up in my face.  I just went off because I was trying to get a loan but for some reason it wasn't approved, so I didn't sweat it. So I call back again and this Arab lady tells me to shut up and hang up in my face.

I woke to a call from a male identifying himself as Max Legal an attorney for Cash Advance He proceeded to name off the federal charges supposedly against me 1 violation of federal check fraud  and 1 theft by deception charge, due to a supposed cash advance (which i was denied) I asked for the account #, i asked for the dates of the transaction, i even asked for the court case #(which he gave), panicing identity theft since the account # wasnt my # he gave me, i then called my banks customer service, whom informed me that the account # he gave me does not even exist. So I called him back from 4 different phones & the minute i mentioned that little non existing factor that my attorney has contacted the FBI amazingly the male hung up on me.

These people need to be shut down! They called me too! I'm going to close my account TODAY! They said they are representatives of Cash Advance USA! Don't give them any information!!

i got the call from Ma as well, but different last name but same threatas and all he had all the info except a few numbers off on ss #, i called bank this morning and advised them, i had applied for a loan but not with cash advance so i knew he was lying, he got real nasty with me and made threats and all, told me to shut my mouth lol man we went around and around they have called my job and eveything i was so mad over all the calls, i told him that no i wasnt gonna shut my mouth and that i was reporting him to everyone that i could it pissed me off so bad, he messed with when he used the term " cops" and not police lol what a ideot

this man from this nember knew all my account info and work and all made treats towards me and got real nasty

I just got a call from this number this morning stating that a lawsuit was being filed against me with 3 complaints etc. They passed themselves off as trying to get payment for a cash advance loan that I had not paid back.  I had no idea about any of this, so I told them that and they seemed to get defensive.  I asked when this suit was filed, what the date was, etc. and they could never give specifics.  Went by the name of David Jones.

I just got a call from this number and he went by the name max Jambel, saying I had 3 criminal charges I was facing! He asked if I had a lawyer, I was so confused so I looked up the number and this is what I found, i am so glad i didnt call him back! But not I will know what to say when he calls back! Thanks!

I have received several calls from this number leaving threatening messages.  I return the call and asked what this is in reference to - they say I received a loan and never paid it back, I was on the run and would be receiving 3 criminal charges.  I was told to get an attorney and they would be coming to my place of employment to arrest me.  I told them they were full of [***]!  I never received a cash advance or loan and that they were harassing me and I would be coming for them with the State's Attorneys Office - he promptly hung up!

This SCAM!!! is very threatening and scary and it seems once you are on the list you will get a number of calls from people trying to pull this over and over.  I myself got a call from this number claiming a Max Jamble - Sr. Lawyer was about to charge me with numerous violations over a pay-day loan I never received.

The only way to stop these people is to report them ASAP to the FTC.  I contacted the FBI and they sent me to the complaint center at: http://www.ftc.gov

The FTC has to go after these people because of the use of phone.

Please if you get a call from this number report it and help put a stop to these people !!

WOW these people (Indians from India) are a collective piece of work, they think just because they have the last four digits of your SSN they can try to put a claim on your finances They can't bring themselves to kill a cow or eat meat But they'll try to put you in the poorhouse in a heartbeat. I WOULD IGNORE EVERYTHING THEY SAY frankly because they can't prove anything about anyone. Also I don't believe there is such a firm by that name

They pretended to be calling from HR, I was to be his assistant and deposit $500 a week as my assignment. He wouldn't give me any more info.
