The loan I was trying to apply for was for $5000 they told me to pay $220 with a Vanilla prepaid Reload for the first month Installment fee and another fee of $200 from a green dot money pack for a western union transaction fee to receive the $5000 Loan the first person I spoke with about the Installment fee name was "Steven Garner" and the second person I spoke with about the $5000 Loan name was "Douglas Black"

Pay particular attention to item #4!  Total scam.  Don't fall for it.  There is no loan.

Things to remember about loans offered by phone or e-mail:

Loans
1.    No reputable lender will lend you money over   the   phone.
2.    No reputable lender will lend you money by e-mail
3.    On-line lenders are nothing more than conduits for another loan scam.
4.    Advance fees for loans are always illegal.    At  least in   most    American states.
5.    If   you want to borrow money,   go to an established brick and mortar   lender that has been around awhile.
6.    If you receive a call from someone with an Indian accent either a.  threatening you or b.  offering you something, you know it’s a scam and you should hang up immediately.
7.    These people are predators, the calls are not random, they have information that they have bought from various sources and know your financial history.  If you have ever taken out a pay-day loan, they have all your information.  They know who they are calling.  They like to pick on women, single mothers, the elderly and sometimes  members of the immigrant community.   Also,  those who might be in financial difficulty.

This idiot called me. First this guy with an indian accent calls stating Ive been pretty approved for a 5000.00 loan taking its shortly after I'd been seeking a loan to help in a rough spot it seemed a little to perfect. So I listen to this scum tell me things like get a prepaid Visa and they will transfer funds to my account I googled the number and found this which probably saved me from a mistake. He goes be Steve Gardner and is indian of some sort. Honestly never heard a man with an accent from India be named Steve I now call this man daily running his day and reminding him I'll spend my time spreading the word his life is a joke..report the number avoid the scam

My fiance received a text from 312-788-9706 claiming she was approved for a loan between $3000-$10000 and they strongly urge her to do the full amount. When she called they jumped right to it asked her name, account# ,last 4 of ss. She then asked who's name it was under hers or her fiance and they said it didn't matter. She was smart enough to say she better wait she ask the Indian speaking man his name and he said Steve Gardner, so guess he is using a new number on his scam
