Got a call from 510-699-9291 on my cell a few minutes ago, no voicemail left. I don't know anyone on that end of the country.

Just got a call from this number, didn't leave a voicemail and I'm afraid to call back to find out who it is. Does anyone know who this could be, caller ID says Oakland California

I just received a call from this number. It left no voicemail and on two attempts to call back it went straight to a busy signal.

Just got one. No message left. Very annoying.

Got a call it left no voice mail, I called it back said press 1 to be removed from their call list if not interested in receiving promotional calls but gave no company name so its either scam or telemarketing

This # keeps calling my phone, never leaves a vmail.  And then why I try calling it back it gives a busy signal... WTF  Who are these ppl ??? ( And they only call when im at work, so therefore I cant answer right when they call, any normal buisness, collection agency etc. will at least have a call back #)

This phone number belongs to a public utility named CallerID4U, Inc., which is run by Paul Maduno and Luis Martinez.  They have entered into revenue sharing agreements with telemarketers who make illegal unsolicited telephone calls.  They profit directly from these outbound unsolicited telephone calls.

This appears to be a clear violation of a number of laws, including 16 C.F.R. §310.3(b) of the Federal Telemarketing Sales Rule.

Was a unsolicited call for a "promotion" for a cruise.

I also got this call and was trying to find out who it was. Thanks for the info.

Call.  No Anwer.  No Voicemail.  Suspect CallerID4U as posted by JD on 2/11/13.

Called my husband and asked him if he was on a cell phone, he said yes, asked him 10 questions and told him he won a free trip to Bahamas. I feel like some how, someway he got scammed as they did not ask for our address and I am betting there is going to be a big charge on our cell bill. I would have hung up, but he was so "proud" of winning these tickets. Hmmm...how is he supposed to get them?

Same type of call here and no voicemail left.  I was wondering if anyone received this call on a landline phone or has it been only on cell phones?  They called my cell my provider is Verizon.  Makes you think doesn't it maybe Verizon has a hand in these calls maybe they pay people to do it in order to have random charges on our wireless bills.  Any thoughts?  Ideas comment below and let me know what you think.
