ZipRealty in Emeryville, CA seems to be the owner of this number, but like Benjamin Franklin said, don't believe everything you read on the internet.

Since the call automatically hung up when I answered, it seems to be an auto polling bot, probably searching for fax machines or checking for live voices to collected numbers.

ZipRealty....missed call on my cell but I called it back and the IVR announces the name of the business...so annoyed because how did they get my number and why.  Im going to call them tomorrow and make sure they don't make that mistake again.

Yep, they got me too. While I was in the shower. I answered and had the same experience. How annoying.   ZipRealty in Calif.  I called back and just got a voicemail menu.  I think from now on I am not going to answer any calls from numbers I do not recognize.

They called my cell phone.  Not there when I answered.  Funny though.  The called when I lived in a different state and tried to get me to sell my house.

They called me and hung-up when I answered.  This sort of activity should not just be illegal, but should carry severe financial consequences.  As mentioned above, probably some sort of computer mining the phone numbers looking for something.   Google came-up with Zip Realty in Oakland, CA.  I am in Florida with zero activity or interest in California Real Estate.

Received a call from this # and they hung up immediately. I am not and will not put up with this. I will be reporting this to the Attorney Generals Office in my state. Internet says it is Zip Realty in California. I have no business with them.

I live in Hawaii...someone from this number at 3:55 AM calls me. WOW!!! Woke me up and I couldn't get back to sleep. Needless to say I didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer it. I called it back and some clown answers and I just hung up on him...I'm going to call right now and find out whats up with that sh*t.

Ok, so. I called and spoke to ta rep who explained that someone has been spoofing their number and soliciting, and in NO WAY is connected with their company. She was very appologetic and took down the info and said that they are currently working on trying to get to the bottom of who's spoofing their number.  She said there has been numerous complaints from callers who are complaining about receiving calls from their number. Hmmmm.

I'm with you.  Sounds a little suspicious.  If their number is being spoofed and they've had all these complaints why haven't they done something about it.  Note the date of the first post.  This has been going on since October of 2013.  They make no mention of it on their web site.  I echo your "hmmmmm."

They called us at 12:50am in Ga. but call was from ZIP Realty California.  Co-incidentally, our "for sale" listing had just expired at midnight (110 minutes earlier) and this was the first call from a real estate company.  Possibly a computer scanning "expired listings" that activated the call???  There is a local real estate office by the same name, so possibly a lead for them to follow-up.  ???  Quite annoying to get a call at that time.  There's no way I'd do business with them if this is how they try to get listings.

+1(510)735-7470 Called my UK mobile, my WhatsApp and FaceTime and left a text long message about waking up and missing me. Then asked me to 'give a big hug to Keith for looking me' ! Don't know a Keith. Whoever it was seems determined to get through but it's bleep bleep aggravating because I am out of the UK and taking calls when overseas is expensive. I am a pensioner and I find all these attempts to get in touch worrying. Someone should take these people out and shoot them. It's plain harrassment

That's not how this works. You complain on the page that matches your number. Probably a wrong number as opposed to a scam.

They were nice enough to call at 10:38 this evening - PITAs.

Just got a phone call at 2210 on my home phone in South Dakota. Where do they get their numbers at. I'm on the Do Not Call list!!!
