- KGot the same threatening automated voicemail. I called back and told the guy that I wouldn't give him any info until I could research and make sure he wasn't a fraud. (that and I always have an accountant do my taxes just to make sure I'm always in compliance). The guy said he was from the United States Treasury, Department of Legal Affairs and Tax Fraud Investigation, but when I asked for his name and ID# he hung up on me.

- KaceyI missed the called. They left an automated message. I called back, a man who had a heavy accent claimed to be IRS enforcement.
I immediately let them know I was aware that this is a fraudulent phone from an IRS Impersonator and he promptly hung up on me.
PLEASE do not send these people your money, the IRS will send you letters if you owe money. I reported this number to phishing@irs.gov you can do the same.
You can also BLOCK these numbers from calling you on most phones. (just Google how to block callers and enter the model of your cell phone or your phone company for landline telephones)
If you have given these IRS Impersonators money via Western Union, you may be able to file a claim with the Federal Trade Commission to attempt to recover your funds.

- TiredOfSpammersGot a call on the same day as everyone else March 5, 2018. Voicemail message states "Federal Magistrate is calling you as a second warning for your Federal Case. Please Call back (and they leave a completely different #)". Went so far as to google the Federal Court in the San Francisco area and this isn't their number. Second, tracked down the return phone # provided and it was a mobile number in San Jose, yet the caller id said Berkeley. Clearly, VOIP scammers changing numbers... Not buying what they are selling.
