- XtechJerrell Johnson from Richmond Oil Company in Austin, TX. Left his call back number as 512-615-3725. Wanted to speak to the owner of the company (ask for him by name) in regards to a personal oil investment opportunity.
I've known the owner for about 25 years...He doesn't do oil investments LOL- Caller: Richmond Company
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Al CadeA Dale McNeill with Richmond oil called me - though he used 512-615-3728. Asked me to call him back - (not!)
What is funny is that he tried about 2-3 weeks ago, and, realizing the call for the scam that it was, gave him the empty phone line. I let it set on the desk for about 90 seconds while I worked on a spreadsheet, and I could hear him yammering the whole time. He had just finished when I picked it up, but I continued the silence. He called my name twice, cursed, then hung up! :-)- Caller: Richmond Oil Co

- NAGot a voicemail on my cellphone from Selena. She made herself sound familiar and I thought it was a potential client. Called her back, she said they are selling investments in oil, etc.
Who buys investments from unsolicited sales calls today? There have been so many scams over the years, that you have to treat calls like this as a scam.
I resent people like this calling, acting like they have business for me, only to find out they are selling "investments" over the phone.- Caller: Rich man Oil

- Lauramy call was from 5126153732 also Richman Oil. Michael Windeguth. If you search him online, his name comes up in a court document from late 90's that he was selling securities unlicensed for some company...(the court document was to do with someone else, but it's obviously him and not a common name and it's TX). Anyways, 'latest project' was the topic and obviously a scam. Tried to get to the president - right!
- Caller: Richman Oil
- KristenSame thing happened here - asked for the CEO who retired 11 yrs. ago! Tried to get through to the President (CEO's son) and I "fake" took a message. His name was Ron Risinger and he gave a different call back number than what it came in as (thank goodness for caller id) 512-615-number. I asked what it was regarding - oil investment opportunities - sounds like a really sound investment to me!

- JaeJust got a call from Selina at 512-615-3730. Had a good laugh when she asked if my husband and I would be interested in investing in oil! She was polite, not pushy, but hey - retired teachers do not invest in oil - and always do our research/homework. "A" for presentation, "F" for trying to scam.

- AshleyI actually got an email from this company instead of a call. Skeevy company. I called to confirm if they got hacked, which can happen and then they said well I wanted to make sure you were not just randomly contacting people off Linked In you do not know to invest in your company and they said "oh yeah I guess we do" ... Yep, do not answer them.
Hi Ashley,
Did you see my last email? I’ve included it below in case you haven’t seen it yet. I wanted to share with you an amazing opportunity in American oil and natural gas investing. Despite what you may think, oil and natural gas is still one of the smartest ways to invest.
May I give you more details on our next project?
Regards,
Carl Pool

Hi Ashley, this is the question weighing heavy on the minds of investors since 2008...
"Are my investments properly diversified? Is my family financially insulated against the next global crash?"
My name is Carl Pool, CEO and President of Richman Oil, a Texas-based oil and natural gas firm that’s been helping investors make substantial returns in U.S.-based energy investments for over 25 years (more on that below). I wanted to reach out and let you in on a little secret that’s been quietly shifting savvy investors’ attention back to oil and gas, right here in the good ‘ol U.S.-of-A.
The 2008 crash left a lot of investors standing around watching their life’s work fall apart around them...
$7 trillion in investor wealth was wiped out over a few short months…and the markets are still volatile, leaving most investors skittish on the stock market and seeking proven ways to diversify.
Surveys suggest that the #1 fear facing investors today is a repeat of 2008.
We all know the best way to protect your family’s financial future is with a diversified portfolio, so when the next crash comes you don’t watch all your hard-earned gains going down the drain.
Right now is the most exciting time since the Industrial Revolution to be investing in oil and natural gas right here in the United States.
"In the past decade alone, technological advances in oil and natural gas production have ushered in a new era. American crude oil production jumped 88 percent between 2008 and 2015, and natural gas production increased 48 percent since 2005." —EnergyTomorrow.org
Richman Oil is different from most prospecting firms out there because we partner with you from day 1—you will always know the status of your investment, and you’re confident that it’s being managed by the absolute best of the best in the industry.
Ashley, may I send you the inside details on our next upcoming project? Just reply to this email and I’ll get you all the details you need plus our inside report on our next project.
You’ll be able to see first hand some of the incredible benefits of investing in American oil and natural gas. For example, the government-incentivized tax benefits of oil and natural gas can’t be found anywhere else in the tax code… it’s worth checking out for this alone.
I can tell you that the excitement is absolutely electric when we “strike oil” and start to generate returns for our investors.
**Please Note: The information costs you nothing, but please let me know right away if you are interested, as this kind of opportunity is limited to a fixed number of individuals and is on a strict production timeline.**
Best,

- Earlier Investor replies to VEraI did invest with Richman Oil a few years ago. After drilling they came up with not commercially viable oil quantities. If you invest (I believe you generally have 3 days to renounce), be sure and look at their success ratio on drilled wells in the prospectus. I didn't find a partnership in the prospectus I wished I had invested in. None I looked at made profits before tax benefits (and near zip if any afterward) as best I could calculate. I'm puzzled about how they make their profit. I speculate they must get a cut off the top when they contract out the drilling. Their wells certainly did not appear to provide a going concern profit.
