I do not want any more calls from the number I am not interested anymore...

I received a call from 'Frank' who said I was approved for a $10K loan.  I informed him that I did not need a loan and asked him how the loan was processed. He said it was online. I told him to cancel. He said he could not do that.  He said if I did not make the loan that I could take it up with their 'investigative' department but in order to do that I had to have $152 on hand as 'security' for the application fee.  To do this you needed to go to Walgreens or 7-11 and purchased a certain type of gift card and then they would begin the investigation.  They also told me that the application indicated the money to be sent to a Western Union wireless transfer location.  I told them that any legitimate company would have flags raised on any application that indicated that:  the applicant had a good credit rating..which I do...and why would I go to them for a loan....and a Western Union wireless transfer.  Anyway, I wanted to see where they wanted to go with this and told them I would purchase the $158 card sometime in the next day or two.  That set them off.  They wanted me to go immediately....which confirmed again my suspicions.  Anyway, i retrospect I should have told them that "yes, I made the application and need the money, please send a check to my address immediately".  Not sure what their answer would have been but would be interesting if someone would respond as such and reply on this string.

Like others have said, I received a call from an Austin based number.  I did not answer but had a voice mail from a man with an accent telling me it was Cash America and that my loan was approved for $10k.  Again, as others have stated, I did not apply for a loan.  I am not going to call back.  They were asking for me by my maiden name and I have been married over a decade so I am not sure where they got their info.  Regardless, I'd like to be removed from their list.

The phone number 512-270-1618  Danny Ross, Rachel Cooper, Jacqueline Davis  Mr. Hunter, Cash America (so many different names) Let me advise you this company scammed my mother out of $441.83.  How?? Because she is gaining some years on her.  She is a little elderly.  They convinced her that she had a $10,000.00 loan.  I am angry!!!!  These are not Americans.  They are foreign. If you just simply call them to inquire about a loan, like I did, trying to locate the predator who did this to my mom.  I want you to know now that they will laugh, they make fun of you, they lie, they are all one big family in a room together doing business by robbing Americans of their money.  (Especially the elderly and disabled who think this is a miracle......INDEED...it is NOT!!!!)  The final thing they had to say to me was, DID YOU REALLY THINK THAT WE WOULD SEND THE MONEY BACK TO YOUR MOTHER?  DID YOU REALLY THINK THIS WAS A LOAN???  Cash America has never heard of this phone number and advised me that they are fraudulent and they are a SCAM.  Don't get robbed like my sweet, sweet mother.  These are just the most heartless, worthless, evil people that God ever allowed to slither around this earth.  

I have gotten this call a few times.  Same basic story as all the others.  Contacted the FBI and they said to ignore it as it is a scam.  Called the real Cash America and they said the same thing.  Next time I get this call I am going to use an air horn to get my point across.

Your callers do not maintain this site or this web page. You cannot expect compliance with your orders until you deliver them DIRECTLY to your caller.

The magic phrase for sales callers is NOT ''take me off'' or "remove my name", but ''Add this number to your Do Not Call list''. Thugs in South Asia of course aren't keeping that scrub list as Federal law requires.

Your scamming callers do not maintain this site or this web page. No callers can magically determine which numbers should not be called based on anonymous comments. Criminals who mass-dial and violate the Telemarketing Sales Rule have no plans to stop calling you no matter what you say and regardless of your DNC registrations. They need first to be sued or jailed.

- No sane person pays money as a condition of obtaining a loan, and
- It is illegal in the U.S. for any lender on the phone to demand otherwise.

There might be something else going on with the script used by this bunch, who insist you must have that loan if they have to cram it down your gullet, like they're priming victims for subsequent calls from fake debt collectors. ("We has proofs you take loan! You on thee tape being approval on it! You give us monies and we stop thee sheriff so you no go behind thee bars.")

I got a call from this number and spoke with a live person. But I believe it is a scam Caller also. I have reported this number already to the proper Athorities. All suspects will be caught and imprisoned and fined also. All Scam artists back off for we are angry now we will get the proper Athorities on you.

Received a call from "unknown". I did not answer it and frankly did not expect a voicemail. I listend to the 31 second message. Some foreign sounding douchbag prattled on about how I was approved for a $10,000 loan. I have excellent credit, no debt, and no need to take out an unsecured loan from some shyster who can barely speak english. I'm happy they left a call back number (512) 270-1618 because I've entered them into my blocked call list. These people are scammers and will do anything to try and screw you out of a buck. I heard these jackwagons scam their own grandmothers when too many of us intelligent folk hang up on them. These scumbags really should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. I don't think their roommate bubba in the "Federal Pound Me In The Ass" prison would appreciate getting scammed out of his cigarette money.

Received call from Cash America 512-270-1618 said they were sending $10.000 via Western Union told Frank Davis never applied and would reject anything from them, he said he didn't care what  I said, he has application and it was approved. Very rude. Told him to take my name off telemarketing list, he said not telemarketing .  He has my name and phone number, didn't give anything else to him.
