    Really mad!
Called today 4 times in a row (of course while kiddo was down for nap). I finally answered b/c I was furious. Guy demanded to talk to someone (never heard the name before). Said there was no such person here and to quit calling as my kid was trying to get to sleep. He then proceeded to impersonate an officer of the court, told me I was lying. I demanded to speak to a supervisor; he yelled that this was an official investiation and threatened to issue a felony arrest warrant. I told him to go ahead. I have filed complaints with the FTC and the Texas AG. He also gave me a phony name (Theft, Arbirtation, and Litigation) when I demanded the name of his company.

First call received was from a Travis out in Texas said I owed this money to a Cash advance company from online, which I told him it will be paid on 12/1907 cash advance was for only $150.00, he called my family sister and father yesterday when I was having surgery and told him that if he didn't get $650.00 from me by that day then an arrest warrant would be issued for me. Called him back today and he refused to give me a business letter of the charges.  As for me I wouldn't hardly speak to him because of my Tonsillectomy that I had done yesterday.  He was so rude and scared me and my family. A few moments later was contacted by an investigator by the name of Rich Frank at 512-340-0890 and stated that if I didnt pay them $325.00 by today than I would be arrested.

    NOT SCARED!
I recieved a call from this company also and they called my references telling them a warrant has been issued for my arrest. This is illegal but they are taking illegal actions to try to get money they loaned to me illegally. I just found out it is against South Carolina law for them to loan money over the internet to a resident of South Carolina and they know this so they are doing everything possible to get money but they won't get a dime from me! HAHAHA! And the name is just to scare you! You ain't scaring me punks!

i received a phone call from them today, yesterday, and the day before that. they threatened me with a capias warrant, bank fraud, and then today again i would be arrested if i didn't pay a company they wouldn't say by 2:00pm at 2:01 i would be a felon. last nite they said by 10:00am. after today's call and then they called my mother who i use as a reference for anything i purchase and told her i would be arrested causing her to get upset. rich franklin then called back again and said he had bad news and i told him i needed his address and phone number and name of company he work for. he said for what so i informed him i needed it for my lawyer he said no give me your lawyer information and i will contact him i said no thank you because i need this information as well. no number appears now because he blocks it out but the numbers before were 512-340-0890 and 512-340-0493 *12; the address and company name given was Litigation & Theft Arbitration, 100 E. Whitestone Ave., Austin, TX which doesn't exist and the number appears to be an apartment address in texas. After all this i contacted the FTC and issued a complaint the consultant explain to me that this is an illegal act and referred me the FTC brochure which explains everything this supposely company is doing wrong to us, the consumer.

Please submit a complaint so something can be done.

    Frustrated
This jerk by the name of Rich Franklin has constantly been calling my home at different hours and late night claiming to be a collector for a small loan which I applied for back in June of 2007 in the amount of $150.00 and he claims that now since I have not paid it off (due to a family matter), that I now owe over $600+ and that if I do not pay the full amount, that I will be arrested at my place of employment. Every time he calls he states the same thing claiming "You will be arrested this afternoon unless I receive payment in full". I have reported this individual to the FTC and BBB, but to date he continues to call my residence and employer and shares all of my personal information to strangers. Keep in mind that he is in violation of Penal Code section 422-422.1 and it is against the law for him continue harrasing me. Can someone do something to put this guy behinds bars?

    Just another Joe
(512)340-0495.  Same thing here.  Called late night several times in a this past week.  Asked for someone (unknown to my wife and I), and after being told that person does not pertain to our number, continued to call back.  I got him on the phone and no sooner had I stated that "he" kept calling, he quickly interjected and began saying that his records indicated that he had only called once.  The guy was extremely rude, most unprofessional, and did not take a breath to let me get a word in sideways.  When I told him to stop calling, and asked what company or entity he was with, he uttered something about "theft, arbitration, and litigation" and began rambling on again.  At that point, I realized that he was not of any Police Department and I told him what he could go do with himself, uttered some choice words, and told him to go "F" himself then hung up.

Somebody gotta find this guy and have him arrested.  He's probably scamming a whole bunch of people and stealing their money.

Back in September 2007 I get a phone call at work and it was a guy called Travis Watson stating that he had a warrant for my arrest because I owe for a loan. First of all he didn't even say where he was calling from or anything else but that. Of course, I got scared and asked what was it for and he said that it was for a loan of $150 and that now I owe over $550. I told him that I could give him the Full amount of the loan so he can close my file and refused. Well I had to wire him $100 in order for him not to send the paperwork to the authorities.Anyway I was scared and wired the $100 a month later I get another call at work from a Rich Franklin stating the same thing that I falied to send more money and he had issued a warrant. I ignored it and a day later he calls me again at work and I was already gone and he went and told a co-worker my personal business that I commited a fraud and that I was going to go to jail for that. I was so mad when my co-worker called my cell to tell me about this guy, so right away I called the FTC and they recommended me NOT to send anymore money because this company is a SCAM they are not real. I'm just getting tired of all the phone calls I get at work (at least 5 times) everyday. I had asked for paperwork and refused to send it to me, I also asked for name and address of the Co. and also refused to give me that info. I think we all have to get together somehow and have these guys arrested.

I have 3 different phone #'s for them which are:
    (512)340-0890 ,  (512)340-0745 and (512)340-0493

Some guy calls my Human Resources Department where I work and left a message that an Investigator Rich Franklin in Travis County is trying to locate me.  The number was 512-340-0890.  I have read some really bad horror stories about this guy on the internet.  I'm not real sure what I should do.  I don't want him to call me here at work, but I also don't want him calling me at home.  Any suggestions?

We should all get together somehow and sign a Petition or similar with all of us as individuals complaining and submit all of our findings and forward it to the BBB, FTC, and possibly the FBI for further investigation and put these jerks behind bars!

I had a call from 512-340-0890 the man identified himself as Investigator Rich Franklin of Travis county. He left a message to consider myself served and good luck. then he called my aunts house and told her he had a warrant for my arrest and that i would go to jail for 10 YEARS!! unbelievable. i am sure it is for a payday loan i cannot pay back. what can i do? i am getting ready to file bankrupcy will that legally stop him from calling me. I know it is illegal to threaten arrest for money you owe. it is all a scare tactic. Anybody else have him identify himself as investigator?

Tell this scumbucket excuse for a bill collector that if he doesn't stop calling you, you're gonna sue his @$$ off under your state's laws against harassment and under the FDCPA.  This man deserves to be humiliated and locked up for his actions.  He's violated the FDCPA and many other laws in misrepresenting himself and threatening you.

This guy has done the same thing. I have told him he is a bill collector and not a investigator. Also, I told him what he is doing is wrong. Right now, I am working with clear your debt and they say annoy the calls. He can not charge you with check fraud. He has not called my references and they know not to answer. I have reported him to ftc and the company I have reported him to has also contacted the ftc.

I wrote to the Office of the Attorney General in Austin Texas and they are going to to an investigation. The thing is we all have to write to them so the investigation will be faster. Below is their email address and also a website they gave me to Report them there as well.

    It doesn't hurt to try.
