Scam, trying to get you to send him 600 dollars via western union. called me about my car i had listed in cars.com

Total Scam, trying to get me to give them personal bank information so they could send a payment for an item i had listed on craigslist. They tell you they can't touch the money they have in their bank then tell you they are going to send you a payment via Paypal. It's kind of funny because no matter what you send them you get an automated reply. So have some fun with them the more of their time you take the less time they have to take advantage of someone else.

Contacted via a craigslist ad where we were selling a car.  Contacted us via text. Told us they can only pay via paypal, the information was suspicious.  No matter how we responded to them they just kept sending information to pay via paypal.  Figured it is a scam and then found above posts with similar information.

Texted me about a car I was selling. Said he was an offshore worker and needed the car for his inlaw.
Wanted my Paypal email and home address. Smelled like a scam before I found this website.

Thanks gay I got a text from this number and I think he likes Paypal................NEVER RESPOND OR ANSWER......

hay all they are still trying. ad placed on craiglist to sell vehicle and wanted to send money via paypal. I'm so thankful that my disabled father trying to make ends meet called me before finalizing deal. for all of our sacks I will do my best for the next month or more if it takes to place a warning ads on every single site that I can find warning others about this group. I currently work in the telemarketing feild and know some different avenues on how to raise a flag or two as they say. I know this will not stop them completly but it will be worth every second to make sure they can't do this again to any one else.

Called me about furniture I had listed on Craig's list. Will send money to PayPal, then cashier's check, etc. etc.

Told him to send 950.00 cash by fedex overnight and we would discuss it. no answer.

got a call about my cycle said it looked good in the ad and would pay by paypal, and I texted back saying cash is king, sayonara, pal

Same rat [***] tried to buy by Harley. Please come by so you and my bat came meet up!

Same guy, contacted me about buying a car I had listed on Craigslist.  Gave me a sob story about leaving for a contract tomorrow, wanting to send money.

This number is still tryin! Texted me this morning about a boat im sellin. Said hes an oceanographer and was leaving any moment and cant receive calls when at sea. Buying it for his son. Knew it was a scam but googled the number and found all this. Gotta give em credit for imagination tho!!

Texted me about my Corvette I got on Craigslist told me he will be paying PayPal. Now in my ad it states that I don't take PayPal only cash and in person only no shippers or agents in person only, but they still try there scam. Must be sad to be that lonely that they need to try this crap. What losers! They really need to get a life.
