These people are rude! Says he's from the sheriffs office and they are sending someone out. He's out if Austin, TX. They just called my number and I could not understand most of what was being said.

States he is "John Alexander" from the Texas Attorney Generals office, speaks broken English and does not know who Gregg Abbott is... calls incessantly and has even called my employer, when asked to speak to his supervisor he says he can't due to "issues with his phone" reported to the FTC and the real Texas Attorney Generals office.

512-410-4963 is a debt collector ILLEGALLY stating that they are with the "State Attorney General's Office".  "Raymond Roy" has to talk so slow just so he can speak broken English. When you try to find out exactly who the creditor is they won't tell you..."skirt" around the question. Can't even get it in writing what is owed and to whom. I have already asked these idiots to not call me at my place of employment TWICE. I am now seeking legal action against them for harassment.   My attorney has assured me what these people are doing is a highly improper way to collect a debt.

Indian scammers.  They garble their voice so you can't pick out the Hindi accent.  Ignore 'em . Total scam.  Apparently people are simply hanging up if they hear an Indian accent.   The Indian scammers are getting desperate.  

I got a call today from 5124104963 saying they from the attorney general and they was sending an officer out to.my house to arrest me if i didnt pay 4000 dollars in a hour and i cried thinking it was true

Ignore 'em.  Total scam.  Operating out of India.   Report 'em to your local police and attorney general.

They call again, tell 'em you know it's a scam and tell 'em to go to hell.  Loudly.

Got a call and they said they're from the Texas Sate Attorney General's Office, told me that someone is using my social security number fraudulently. Told me he needed to transfer me to an attorney. Everyone I spoke to spot such broken English and with a very thick Indian accent. Then I spoke with "Senior Attorney Todd Polowski". I questioned him about what division of the AGs office he's with and he said Crime and Fraud. I asked him I'd Todd Polowsky is his legal name on his birth certificate and he claimed it was. I told him I would call the AGs office at their direct line, and then have them put me in touch with him direct and he said "why do you want to waste your time when you are already talking to me?" and then hung up on me. I then called back and asked for him and they hung up on me. I tried calling back 4 times and went straight to voice mail each time. I verified with AG's office that this is a scam, and not the state that is calling me, and filed a complaint with all pertinent info.

I just received a call from (512)410-4963 at work.  The caller stated they were from the States Attorney General  in Texas.  The caller stated that they needed to verify my Social Security Number which they already had in the first place.  I attempted to get information from the caller, who stated he could not release any information about the outstanding debt against my Social Security Number and that I needed to call back at (512) 410-4963 ex. 26 and speak with a senior person from their office.  I called back from a different phone number and the person on the other end sounded like a teenager who was having bad phone problem when I called.   I filed a complaint with the actually Texas Attorney General office regarding this call.

another number that they are calling from is 9209654084.  they change numbers every week and every day.  they also call from unknown numbers.  they also email me with an attach arrest warrant.  a word of advice, dont waste your time talking to these people because once you answer they will continue to harras you.  warn family members so they dont speak to them.  they are criminals.  i continue to report them but it is very hard because they change numbers frequently.  dont worry no one is going to arrest you but hopefully they will get caught very soon.  I filed a complaint with the FBI crime unit and they are onto them.
