Texted me a message about my Craigslist ad stating they will send a money order or cashier check to my address. Its a SCAM. Don't fall for this.

i had the same message wanting to send money order for item I posted on Craigslist

Text me last night about 3 different items I had for sale at Craigslist, if they were availiable.
Text back yes they were.

In my ad its says I will only accept CASH and I will Not Ship.

Next night Text me back and said he was going on vacation, and will instruct his assistant to mail payment.
Wanted name and address to send me a money order or cashiers check.

Texted his back ad said cash only and no shipping..  not to bother me again.

Just got a text regarding items that I'm selling on Craigslist. Thank God I check this site when unknown numbers come in.

Recieved three texts regarding a item i'm selling on craigslist. I got the same message as in still available,send name,address,money order and my assistant. Goggled the number and clicked on this site. I'm glad I did after reading all of the above comments I replied back "CASH ONLY" "YOU PICK-UP".

Texted me in reference to a CL ad and stated they would send a money order. I texted back saying I would only accept cash. Don't trust it. I didn't trust the initial email reply for CL. Definitely a scam!!!

I received the same text...... scam, scam, scam!!! I'm from NYC... u can't bs a bs'r!

I received the same messages, but i gave him my address and he sent me a money order for triple the amount.  This happened about a month ago, and now he wants to correct the situation by sending over another...he still hasn't even asked about the item or anything?  what do you think he is after?
