i would like to know who this caller is on my phone

Its a debt collector

I got a call from G.S. Typesetters and the phone number was 512-637-1591. I asked him who they were and all he kept saying was I need to talk to a name I could not understand. He was rude and foreign.

They had all my info, But wouldn't give me the name of the company they were calling for. So if they don't won't to say what company they are calling about. I don't give out personal info like that to verify nothing. They call in the late afternoon and either wake me up or it is storming really bad.
This company needs to do me a favor...................put up or  shut up

They kept calling me, so I called back to see who it was. Call them back and tell them the # they called you at. They will tell you who they are trying to reach. If it isn't you, let them know and they will remove the # from their list. I didn't have to give my name or any other personal info. It was a very quick call to stop these annoying calls.

got a call today, they ask for my social security number, when i started asking questions they hanged up......called back demanded to talk to a supervisor the hanged up on me...called back this time i spoke to somebody
( all the people on the phones are from another country) this idiot told me that he had a very sensitive matter to speak with me so he needed my social. told him that i will contacting the attorney general of his state, he hang up right away.

This is a collection agency that goes by the name of FMS (Financial Managment System) not to be confused with FMS (Financial Managment Services) which the collection Branch of the US treasury department. As far as I can tell they use different names on their caller ID to identify why they are calling someone. Everyone who has ever answered the phone has an Indian Accent.

We are receiving numerous calls from Typesetter 512 637 1591.  The last call they asked if my wifes last four digits of her social security number are. They quoted the correct last four. Should we file a police report of te;ephone Harrassment???

They called my cell phone for 3 days so far. the first 2 times i did not answer, but called back and the recording said they were fms or something like that, a collection agency. this last time they called i answered. they wanted me to confirm my last 4 social. i kept asking what he was calling about, he just kept saying that he had a private matter he had to discuss with me but he could only do it if i verified my last 4 social. i kept telling him i was not going to give him the last 4 of my social until he told me what he wanted. i also told him that i do not give out my cell phone number so this must be a scam. i told him to stop calling me. he sounded indian or something like that.

These people are [***] (debt collectors)They've called my place of employment 3-days in a row. I've been ignoring them, but tomorrow I will speak with the rep and I will give him a very serious verbal notice "DO NOT CALL ME AT MY PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT" and I will let them know that I will report them to the FDCPA if they don't follow through on my verbal request. And then I will hang up immediately, do not stay on the phone with any of the reps. They're trying to pin on me an illegitimate claim which I DO NOT owe.

However, if you're not sure of the debt and the claim they're pinning on you, and you want to confront it, do so by leaving a paper trail. In other words DO NOT speak with them on the phone. These guys are very well trained and know how to get information out of you, and remember it's most likely being recorded. Send them a certified letter, or something similar asking for verification of the debt, and make sure the letter also requests that they NOT contact you through any other means except through courier mail.

DO NOT EVER GIVE THESE JERKS YOUR SOCIAL SEC #, OR ANY INFO THEY MAY BE REQUESTING FROM YOU. THEY WILL USE IT AGAINST YOU SINCE THEY'RE MOST LIKELY RECORDING THE CONVERSATION. THE MOMENT YOU VERBALLY AGREE TO OWING A SPECIFIC AMOUNT, THEY HAVE VERBAL PROOF OF YOUR SUPPOSED DEBT.

The purpose of The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) is to protect consumers against abusive collection tactics and create some guidelines of conduct for both creditor and debtor. DO NOT LET THESE GUYS HARASS YOU!!!

Rec'd a call from this # today @ my place of employment (a hospital), asking for a name that sounded like "Agela Berry."  Foreign accent and a little pushy.  I told him twice there was no one here by name; he then apologized for the call.

some stupid idiot called for a former business owner and the company doesnt exist anymore. Its probably some stupid debt collector that purchased useless debt.

also, the spoofed their number by protending tto be in the same area code.

these guys are scammers - do not respond.
