Received a call from this number today. No message was left. Caller ID say "san marcos." San Marcos is in Texas between San Antonio and Austin.

did not recognize number so did not answer.  Left no mssge.  Telemarker for sure.

evil mean people looking for friends who will send them bank and credit card information. if you are confused, they want to talk to you and help you free yourself of your money.

Got two calls from this number on Monday (23 May) about an hour apart. Each time, after I picked up the handset, said nothing. The caller said nothing and hung up after several seconds. I have removed the time-of-day they called.

I am in the 512 area code, but there are several small cities also in this area code, which is centered around Austin, Texas. "Local" is very generic because there are over a million people in this area.

Free tickets to attend a dinner  at " a fine restaurant" in Bedford, Tex. Upon arriving you will receive 2 plane tickets to ----somewhere. Of course, they do not tell you what it is about or what you have to do to get said tickets but it is probably anything from a presentation to giving up your first born! Stay away

A recorded message offering a dinner and plane trip for two. Supposedly to introduce a new travel agency that "hopes to win" my business. Here's a tip, folks. Bothering me with recorded phone messages will never earn my business.

They called while I was pouring a cup of coffee. Sadly, I didn't answer in time to find out what kind of unbelievable offer they had for me.

From Houston, received this call with the same as others on here. Dinner for two and travel tickets to anywhere in the continental US

No message. Obviously a robo. Caller ID showed LOCAL. 512 area code is a long way from my location and not 'local' by any means.

Kid calls and asks if my "refrigerator is running?"  I told him no and he said "well, why don't you stick your d_ck in the garbage disposal."

Most unkind.  Please block this number.

Several calls received, none answered and no messages left.  Robo dialer.  I figured they just wanted some of my money so they could pay their highly trained staff and their phone bills.  After a dozen calls (and no messages) I called back and got their cheapo message machinee on the first ring ... .  Poor recording that told me I would have to stay on the line for 20 minutes to get my # removed.   I had no choice so I blocked the number.  Maybe a travel agent? ... I do throw away a lot of junk travel mail.
