called my mobile, let it go to vm since I didn't recognize number, and no message was left.  Blocked number.

Scammer.  CID says "None".  Scum trying to get your money.

Caller ID states, "None"... Thanks to all confirming what we suspected, scammer!  #Make telemarketing illegal!

Caller Id was None.  Left no message.  Now Blocked Call.

Called my cell, I didn't answer, they did not leave a message.   Now they're blocked.

hit answer, immediately heard "is Jerry there?" before I even lifted phone to ear

me: "huh?"

them: started into spiel which sounded like recording, trying to recruit donations for "protecting police officers from violent criminals", I stayed silent, after a brief pause he said 'hello?"

so I knew it was a live call and the first thing thru my mind was "We have to protect the po-po from themselves?"

they IMMEDIATELY HUNGUP

I did not answer the call from this number; no message left.

I didn't answer call.

This number calls several times and never says a word, simply silent and hangs up every time.

Said with an upbeat chuckle, "Hi, you're harder to get than my mom on bingo night."   I hung up faster than Quickdraw McDraw.

Sent it to forced VM and nothing on recording. It's using a local area code but sounds like a solicitation.

Same jack [***] has called before. 1st time he called i told him he had wrong number and he immediately started to try to get me to donate to some BS police charity.
I'm curious if they ever actually get donations. why would anyone trust them enough to give them money when they are deceitful from the start?

Called on my cell I answered said hello and a man asked if he could speak to the head of household.  It was the first thing they said and the only because I immediately hung up.  I've never had anybody ask me that before thought it was strange. Blocking the number now

This caller refuses to talk when answered. It simply hangs up. I immediately called back. I get a recording stating :"This caller can not receive calls at this time" How rude!

Unfortunately this group uses a variety of numbers to call. They kind of come in droves. It’s super irritating. If they call from the same one twice I usually block them, otherwise it takes up too much space.
