Weird.. We got 2 phone calls Today from the same number, one from a man who said " quit calling our house"
The other from a woman who asked for a household member but when asked why, she hung up. Strange.

Same here, 2 phone calls from same #, see post on the other complaint. Would love to turn these jokers in for disturbing the peace where 2 elderly persons also reside.

I got a call from this number but all the people did was laugh like crazy. When I asked who it was they said my name and claimed "We just wanted to call..." then began laughing again. The fact that they knew my name kind of scared me. <.<

received a voice message from this number on my office voicemail. He was mostly laughing and grunting and being obscene. Left a voicemail that was over 7 minutes long with no apparent point to it. I could hear lots of people in the background that sounded like either an airport, a call center, or a fast food restaurant.

I received a call today from 512-730-3883.  He asked if I had been receiving my subscription OK.  I had heard this song and dance MULTIPLE times in the last few months (I'll expand on that later) so I immediately told him I was recording the conversation and asked him for the name of their company and their address (so I could send a certified do not call letter) and he said he was 'new' and could tell me that they were out of Florida but because he was new he did not know the address.  He assured me I'd be receiving my welcoming package soon though that would provide me their address.  When I pushed the issue of the address, he hung up on me.
    A little BG:
On February 20, 2012 I made the mistake of calling on a grocery coupon ad for American Value Grocery.  To make a long story short, they were a scam company and ever since I have received calls from different magazine companies.  I wish I had never called on that radio ad.
I have filed an attorney general complaint regarding American Value Grocery due to more issues with them after I made that phone call, and they never responded.
I am going to start keeping better records of the phone calls I receive.  I would LOVE to sue these scumbags!

its funny i just got the called around noon and a lady actually talked to me but she claimed that i had outstanding credit rate and asked me if i am familiar with a company. she claims that they can help lower my  payments on my credit cards. i told her i was not interested twice and she kept pushing it so the third time i told her i was not interested i hung up. From my love of the internet to investigate or finding answer to mysterious thing i did some research this is what i found: Liberty Periodical, Debt Collector
According to 12 People, Austin, TX (This phone number is flagged as a telemarketer)

this number called my home stating I have a $14,000 credit card and I owed money on it. I would like this to be reported. This is not a good thing to do since I am up in age and have no credit cards.

Got a call on my cell several times. Today I answered. The lady told me that I had so much in credit debt. That Equifax had referred me to them. I knew that I didn't have the amount of debt stated so I hung up. I want to report the company but was never given a name.

11:12 am edt, CID says "TEXAS CALLER". Why not, so answer, surprised that there is a real person on the other end. She asks for me by name, then says something about credit card debt, I play along, she will transfer me to a counselor.  Except transfer doesn't work, I hang up.

At 11:20 am call from 813-261-3297 (Tampa, FL area) and it is the counselor, sorry we got disconnected.
He has a sad little spiel about being a consumer advocate, I listen patiently. He wants to know some vague financial information, fine. Then asks what credit cards I owe money to and how much. Uh-oh.
I'm not going to get that. Why not. Because I'm sitting in a very comfortable chair and am not going to get up. He says he can't help me without the information. I ask how can he help me, what is his plan or system to help people, can't tell you with out more information.  So I say thanks for calling, he says good luck with the debt. Click. I hope this takes me off their call list, but I doubt it. It might be fun to see if they call back.
How can I play with it any more? Maybe make up some generic credit card debt.

Got a call today. The lady said she wanted to talk to me about my credit card services. When I asked her name she did not answer but continued on with her pitch. I told her it was a scam and not to call again and hung up.

I have been getting calls from them and a mysterious "Eugene Germaine." Very blunt, even a bit obnoxious (i.e., "This is none of your concern!" said TO the person who runs the office. Stupid move, Eugene). They've called several times a week for the past few months, and our hang=ups have skyrocketed since. IRRITATING.
