online marketing solicitation pitch

Tracie leaves good messages. Smooth voice like she know you, but it comes in on a local number and she leaves a 512 area code and does not say why she is calling. Has called several times. No thank you Tracie...

This phone number was left on a message, BUT it came through my caller ID as a local number.  It just seems very weird. She said her name was Tracy Carter, and she had a business opportunity that should've sounded good to me, but it was NOT online marketing, or property management, which are what 2 previous posts put up.  It is starting to look to me like either phishing for information scam, OR some kind of money investment scam.  Therefore, I suggest that anyone who does get in contact with these folks by phone: a) only gives out fake information, and b) denies that the person they want to talk to is even at the number that they called.

A lady named Tracey called to ask if I was taking new clients for Elder Law.  Came across as a local number but she left a 512-730-4447 number for call back.

Received a message from Tracy stating they she is a preferred provider for Invisalign & can bring patients to our office.  She left 512-730-4447 as a return call number.

woman asking for owner (by his actual name) asking if we can take on more work for electrical (which that is the company we are) the caller ID came up with a local number, 631-593-0459 with the name Cassy Smith.  I asked why would we want to deal with you you are out of state, is this a solicitation, and she said no ma'am, sorry i wont be forwarding this message to the owner of our company.  This must be a telemarketer company that works for multiple places?

asked for owner of company by name, like they were old friends.  Said his name was Trevor Bishop.  He claimed that he needed to speak with the owner because he had found several inconsistencies about our business online and that he isn't selling anything.
The caller ID showed a local number of 770-415-8964, but he left 512-730-4447 as a callback number.

Trevor says he is with the Legal Division of Web. Came through as a local number

These sales reps are obnoxious and pushy and won't tell you that they are calling from Yodell until you beat it out of them.  Primary number is 856-513-8100, then the respective agent gives you their direct number (in this case, 512-730-4447).  Block them.  I did.
