Robo caller claiming to be the IRS.  SCAM.  Blocked

Left a message "call us about your case".  So you call and it rings and goes into a busy signal.  [***]

They left a message claiming to be IRS and that there is a case on me. I called them and the person who answers is of middle eastern descent (Indian) and can barely speak any English. They begin threatening about freezing accounts and having you arrested. Total b.s. I pay and do my taxes every year in a timely fashion. Totally bogus. Block this number as soon as possible. Obvious scam

The IRS reminds people that they can know pretty easily when a supposed IRS caller is a fake. Here are five things the scammers often do but the IRS will not do. Any one of these five things is a tell-tale sign of a scam. The IRS will never:
Call to demand immediate payment, nor will we call about taxes owed without first having mailed you a bill..

Demand that you pay taxes without giving you the opportunity to question or appeal the amount they say you owe.

Require you to use a specific payment method for your taxes, such as a prepaid debit card.

Ask for credit or debit card numbers over the phone.

Threaten to bring in local police or other law-enforcement groups to have you arrested for not paying.

Straight scam! I had the same middle Eastern sounding mofo call and say they are calling me about my computer

Called back and was told they were from the IRS. Hear other people yelling in the background at other people on the phone. Told him I here's no reason he should be calling me. He then got absolutely foul and perverted. Blocked.

Isn't there something that can be done about this besides blocking as they just call from a different number. I get these calls every month. Who can we turn them into
