Scammer.  Said he from the US Treasury and there is an action against me.  Said he name is Dennis Gray (phony for sure.).  Said I have to call back at 512-768-9020.   Called me twice a few hours apart.

Just recieved same message from Dennis Gray. Sure is a scammer.  Why doesn't government crack down on these people?

Location of the calls. Different story in N. America unlike overseas.

Just got the same scam call.

Just called me, recording saying there was an action against me by the US treasury. I hanged up and called back and got a guy claiming to be US treasury officer Brian Gray! I started interrogating him and he hang up.. Scum!!!!

Call from Dennis Gray telling me to call this number for US treasury action against me.  Have received this call before and ignore it.  Still not in jail.

Scam I'd,d himself as a us treasury agent on a record line. I called back spoke to three people who all spoke broken English . Looking for back taxes which I do not owe. When I challenged them they hung up.Bunch of crooks. Need to get these low life off the streets.

Got the same, saying I owed them money funny thing they never asked for any one person they just attacked the first one that picks up the phone.

The calls are coming from hardcore criminals operating out of overseas boiler rooms using computers to alter their identities and locations and out of the reach of US law enforcement. Do not call them back or attempt to engage them in a coherent conversation, as all they are interested in extorting money for nonexistent debts. And, if you pay them, not only will you never see your money again--but they will more than likely attempt to extort even more money from you. A local woman who paid them 5K is now receiving death threats if she does not pay them another 1K. If they call again, just hang up and block the number (if you have that capability) and report them to the REAL IRS online or (855) 411-CFPB (2372).

Glad to see others have received calls from this number and also deemed it to be a scam.  I've gotten 3-4 similar calls the past few months.  One tip off is use of the term "magistrate".   We do not refer to judges as magistrates in this country.  Another is receiving a call, period.  If you own money to a governmental agency (like the IRS), they'll always send you a letter via U.S. Mail.
