I just recieved a disturbing and threatening phone message that I suspect is a scam. The woman identified herself as Tori Dixon with "The Laws Offices of Hunter Legal Services". The phone number is 512-768-9144 which upon internet search says it is from Copperas Cove, TX. She claimed there have been numerous "documented" attempts to contact me, or my attorney (by the way, I don't have one), and that there are 2 felony charges against me for internet wire fraud and theft by deception with Bank of America (I have not had a B of A account for more than 5 years).She also called me by previous married last name, adding my current name to it. (I have not used that last name in 3 years, and my current phone number I have only had for a year). She claims there is a case filed against me, amd went on to say this was a final and legal attempt to contact me and that I have been notified in accordance with all federal and state laws. She ended the call with "If you fail to return this call I wish you the best of luck".

Received one saying I wrote hot checks to EZ pay and 2 felony charges are gonna be filed against me and an inception charge

Called looking for a family member and threaten to file on 2 felony charges. Relative hasn't been in any trouble and seemed like a scammer or collector. Same act as the caller above mentioned.

Did anything happen as she called my father and freaked him out. Then I ask hubby to look into this and he found this page. She left 2 messages on my phone and one wasn't even for me lol.

She has called and left the same messages that she is leaving for others. She left a voicemail on my phone for a complete stranger with the same threatening message. I have reported this to the police.

I think her real name is Brenda Hunter she has a Face Book page you guys! Check it out the voice matches the face. She owns hunter legal services but nothing is on the page.

I feel you about receiving these phone calls. It is more then enough when they google your name and involve your family members. These type of messages by phone and email is more then enough. Please Tori Dixon find a job and stop stealing money from hard working people.

We received the same types of calls regarding a relative who supposedly they are filing felony theft and fraud charges on him for Wells-Fargo bank, in the city of Alan, Collin County, TX. Scam.  Only public prosecutors can file charges.  Debt collectors have nothing to do with the criminal justice system. Being in ordinary civil debt is NOT a crime and you cannot be prosecuted for it.  We do NOT have debtors prisons in the US.

Same lady name Tori, calling me saying it's in regards to my sister having criminal proceedings. They even got a hold of our mother as a scare tactic. Only problem is they're calling from Texas about a California county "criminal" case...which would never happen in real life since civil & criminal cases from another state would never go to an out of state office to be handled. They're aggressive with the calls & will look up other people with the same last name to harass.
