Just received and email from Alicia Roy stating there was an arrest warrant for me.  And it is for Bank fraud..
    deifnetly a scam. I called the number listed 512 800 6584.
when they answer the phone they only answer with hello, not the state department, not even the persons name.
It was the same thing stating I owed money from a pay day loan, that I didn't borrow.

I just received the same email from Alicia Roy with the same number.  I suppose they want to scam me out of some money by using scare tactics.  I also googled her name and came across several sites for ripoff reports with her name.  Same email message, different phone numbers.  All of them say the same thing - its a scam.

I bet Frank Miller had an accent!  Funny how these jerks all have American names but obvious foreign accents.

Their lack of command of the King's English is a dead giveaway....

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

It's a scam.  Debt is civil, not criminal, so no one is going to be arrested.  Email is NOT a valid means of "serving" a court summons to anyone.  Relax - these scammers can't do zip to you.  Please to forward the email to the FBI at their Internet Crime Complaint Center - www.ic3.gov.  If you get any more emails like this - delete them.

Email is not a legal or valid means to either serve a warrant or any legal paperwork!  If your husband was to be served a court summons, the process server would just show up and hand the papers to him.  If your husband had committed a crime, then the cops would just show up - they wouldn't call or send an email.

Total scam.  Ignore those communications.  Read the above notes.

    __________

This scam is so stupid. The Indian accent so strong you can cut it with a knife.  The beat-up spelling and sentence structure.  And they just keep on putting out the same old scam.  It appears over and over in one form or another. Can't imagine who would fall for it.  Arrest warrant!  Right.    How much money do they actually make doing this, I wonder.
