received a call from this number, with the tell-tale hangup-right-after-calling clicks. This call was made illegally in violation of the do not call list. Came at 2 in the afternoon. so it's most likely just feeling the waters to see which numbers are available in that time period (diane, this is almost certainly the same in your case).

Just called. Has anyone called them back?

I called back and it was a recording saying "The person at that extension is unavailable. Please leave a message."

I too just got a call from 807-8782.  Interesting did not show area code 512.
No message left.

8:50pm, no one answered me

They called on March 6, 2010, left no message.  I just called the number back and got a recording: "The person at extension <very long, meaningless number> is not available.  At the tone please leave a message and hangup, or wait for additional options."  I didn't leave a message and they're now on my caller id blacklist.

Getting calls from this number. Don't know who it is.

I got a call from this number, and the caller was using profound language when I refused to give him information he wanted. Someone needs to stop this guy. I am calling Attorney General.

Keeps calling

I, too, received a call from this number.  When I returned the call, I got the same recording as everyone above received.  I, too, am on the "do not call" list.  Has anyone beside Jerry ever talked to this person to find out who they are and what they want?

Called Sunday, 4/18/2010.  Didn't leave message. Not sure whether was direct to my cell or forwarded from my office number. Both numbers rung to my cell.

Research or GOOGLE "TSTA SCAMS"...Don't know if "prision trustees"are used to make the calls in Austin Tx. but it has been reported that they are being used in Harris Co. (Houston Tx.)...
If you have given to such "Organization" be aware that you have been put on a "HOT LIST" where they persue givers (suckers) to their (or you're) last breath...Be strong and EDUCATE YOURSELF...
 The DO NOT CALL LIST does not work for this type of TELEMARKETER due to exemptions poorly given to law enforcement groups,And you're personal electronic blocking may have been "compromised" or will not work for these calls because of software installed by the makers on behalf of "NATIONAL SECURITY" issues (LOL)

i get calls from this number all the time, i donated once to the tsta without knowing, and i think i am on their hot list now. too bad this happened, cause i will never donate, even to the real tsta, ever again

sooo very true. that a****** had even said that there is an order or arrest for my mother in law because of the financial debt, wth? People don't fall for it!

We get calls all the time from this number.We never answer it..I think now I will and have a whistle ready and blow like there is no tomorrow when I answer it.. I will do it every time after that too!  I think I have too much time on my hands!

just received a call from this number at 6:56 on 05-26-2010.  Kept saying hello after about 30 seconds, they hung up. Only thing I could find out on whitepages.com is that it's an unlisted landline.
